A Resume Is a Reflection of You, Not Just Your Jobs. One of the most important lessons to remember is that a resume is not just a list of positions—it’s a reflection of who you are as a professional. It should showcase your strengths, values, and the unique qualities that set you apart. This is also known as your value proposition. What to Leave Off Your Resume: When searching 🧐 for resume templates, designs, and tips, you'll come across a ton of options, which might lead to some common mistakes. To help you avoid these, here are three things you shouldn't include in your resume: Photos 📸: By leaving out a photo, you can help hiring managers focus on the info that really matters, like your work experience and education. Excessive Details 📝: Once you've got your college degree, you can leave off your high school education. Also, avoid including irrelevant personal info like marital status, birthplace, religion, and political affiliation. False or Exaggerated Info ❌: Never include untrue or exaggerated details about your skills, achievements, or work history. Employers might check up on this, and finding out it's not accurate could hurt your professional reputation and even get you disqualified from the hiring process. Steering clear of these common mistakes is key to building a solid resume and boosting your chances of landing your dream job. Gooood luck!!😁 #Recruitment #SapiensDev #SoftwareEngineering #ResumeTips
