Something that comes up at my office often about self care is the DIFFICULT parts of self care. Sometimes self-care is not bubble baths and naps. Sometimes it is setting boundaries even when it is hard. Or saying NO even when there is part of you that wants to say yes. Pushing yourself to do something challenging or that you are resisting but know is good for you.
