THIS IS THE ENTIRE STRATEGY I WOULD USE IF I WAS LEARNING TO CODE TODAY! Roadmap suggestions and all. This is a LONG video but a detailed one. Drop a like and BOOKMARK IT because you are probably going to want to reference this one later. Tag someone who can benefit from this. #coding #programming #softwareengineering
Thanks Danny! This was definitely insightful and lines up with some of the lessons I've learned along the way in my time since returning to coding. Thankfully I do see roles in my area that are MERN stack, but with it being a buyers market they all seem to want folks with 3-5 years of on the job experience. Also seeing a lot of those Java, C#, .Net roles.... but they want experienced folks on those too, so I'm not ready to begin learning one of those languages. Right now I'm just trying to double down and really learn JS and the frameworks that are popularized on top of it.
freecodecamp is the best resource. there is also youtube videos that help you out if you get stuck.
Keep learning, applying, and growing is key! 🔑🔥
This was really helpful. Thanks Danny Thompson
Amazing and encouraging perspective as always, man. Thank you for willing to share that for all of us freshers to benefit from!
Thank you for sharing this! A lot of new developers are overwhelmed by things that really don't matter! Haveing a clear roadmap is so important!
Danny Thompson Thanks for dropping this, I can't lie, this is really helpful for me, every new dev just coming into the industry should see this.
Amazing content as always, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing, Danny! What are your thoughts on a frontend engineer trying to transition into the DevOps space?

9moYou couldn't have put it in a better way. I believe we have all been rushing to get tech jobs, and the surge in social media course sellers has caused people to think coding is easy and simple. 3+ months isn't realistic for the majority of people out there, and social media constantly smearing other people's success and prestige into your face doesn't help in the self-esteem department. I say: close your eyes and ears to how amazingly well other people are doing. Focus on what's at hand, which is what you laid out here. Very insightful. Thanks, Danny! 🌟
