The global battery storage race is gaining momentum, and North America is right in the mix. According to insights from Visual Capitalist, countries worldwide are ramping up battery capacity to support cleaner, more resilient grids. At Arcus Power, we’re contributing to this transformation with projects that optimize energy storage and grid reliability across North America. Our recent win in the Energy Innovation Challenge with the City of Medicine Hat and Decentralised Energy Canada (DEC) is a great example. We’re developing a DER simulation model for Medicine Hat's grid, identifying locations for battery assets to enhance reliability, resilience, and cost-efficiency while supporting sustainability goals.
