🎓 Convocation Day - Batch of 2024 🎓   Four years. A journey filled with countless lessons, unforgettable memories, and life-changing experiences has finally come to a close. Holding this degree today is not just about academic achievement; it’s a symbol of resilience, growth, and the incredible support system that made it possible.   These 4 years weren’t always easy. There were days when life felt like a battle - setbacks, failures, and doubts clouded the path. But those same moments taught me to push harder, believe in myself, and realize my true potential. They became the foundation of my strength.   What I’ll miss most? • The late-night study sessions that turned into endless laughter. • The last-minute panic before exams and group projects. • The chai breaks, hostel gossips, and those “5-minute” plans that lasted for hours. • The friends who became family. It’s emotional knowing these days will never come back. No more sitting in the same classrooms, walking down the same hallways, or sharing those silly, yet meaningful, moments.   But as this chapter ends, I carry the lessons and memories forward. The Last Day of 2024 – A Year That Changed Everything 🌟 2024 has been a year I’ll never forget. It was full of challenges, surprises, and personal #growth. It all started with a mix of excitement and nervousness. I was wrapping up my MBA when, just one day before my final exams, I got placed at Vieu as a research professional. That moment was surreal—exciting, yes, but also full of questions: "I’ve studied finance for two years. How will I adjust to something completely different? Will I be able to make it?" Nine months later, I can proudly say: it’s been an incredible journey. Vieu gave me the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and explore something entirely new. Today, I feel grateful to be part of a company that’s changing the way #sales happen—helping businesses fast-track deals with warm introductions. The start wasn’t easy. I didn’t understand the processes or how things worked, and being new to this field felt overwhelming. But I had amazing people by my side. My senior colleagues guided me, my manager Ashwin Sande supported me, and the company culture—built by Amazing Founders Samir Manjure and Simon Skaria—made me feel like I belonged. Vieu isn’t just a workplace; it’s a team where everyone lifts each other up. That’s rare, and I feel lucky to experience it in my first job. This year taught me something important: "It’s not about what you’ve studied. It’s about what you do, how you grow, and the impact you create." Looking back, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Struggles, Growth, and Motivation الحمد لله Alhamdulillah, all praise be to the Most High! As 2024 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a year full of challenges, personal growth, and incredible achievements that have shaped me in ways I never expected. The struggles were real – long hours, moments of doubt, and pushing beyond comfort zones. But it’s these very challenges that have fueled my desire to keep pushing forward. Whether it was mastering new skills, networking or reflecting on what I want to achieve in life.Every hurdle has taught me something invaluable. One of the biggest milestones of my year? Being accepted into the Scientist Training Program Alhamdullilah . This is not just a career achievement for me—it’s a moment that validates years of hard work, dedication, and a passion for continuous learning. Joining this program feels like the beginning of a new chapter, one where I’ll have the opportunity to develop, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the field. It’s a big deal, and I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity. Looking ahead, 2025 feels like a year brimming with potential. The road ahead is full of opportunities to further refine my skills, take on new challenges, and continue growing within the science and research community. I’m motivated more than ever to make an impact, push boundaries, and achieve even greater things. We have a good mix of in-person and online events planned for 2024 -2025! This is the first meeting of the Future of Work & Learning Peer 2 Peer Network for the fall of 2024. We will be talking about upskilling and reskilling from a personal perspective. ✅ Tell a story about how you upgraded your skills to shift your career path ✅ Talk about the skills you want to learn to make your next career move or to continue to be valuable in your current role. ✅ Share resources and ideas where other group members could upskill and reskill. You will also have an opportunity to share a "give" and an "ask" with the group. Your "give" could be an offer to show someone how to do something or a conversation on a topic. Your ask might be a request for an introduction or help accomplishing something.
