Today we are shining a light on Morrow - a Rotterdam-based boutique design agency and one of our partner agencies 🔦 🧡 A little while ago we spoke with Marten De Jongh – their creative director and founder. He shared why creators and brands should listen to the younger generation and why Morrow made this their mantra: 'Change for good. Hear the youth.' Because they love working with young people. Exploring how brands can connect with them – not just by listening but by collaborating closely. Morrow operates at the intersection of culture, societal issues and commerce - with a penchant for street culture. Marten: 'Interestingly, many businesses focus on where the market is today, rather than where it’s heading: the youth.' Their way of working: 💜 Explore – building connections, conducting field research, and engaging directly with the target audience 💜 Ideate – co-creating with clients and the youth, developing a shared concept with iterative feedback 💜 Frame – reflecting on feedback to gain fresh insights 💜 Create – iteratively bringing the concept to life together with the youth 💜 Integrate – implementing the concept in its rightful context With at the heart of it all: listening. Truly listening brings everything together. Morrow's mission is to achieve lasting, positive change – not just for their clients, but for the world that we all share. That is what Morrow stands for. And that is how they will shape the morrow 👊🏽👊🏼 To read more about Morrow's change for good, hear the youth: https://lnkd.in/e8kyW3PK #dutchdigitaldesign #partner #agencies #spotlight #hearing #listening #collaboration #youth #positive #change #shaping #themorrow #thefuture #intersection #culture #society #commerce #explore #ideate #frame #create #integrate

At Sparks, we believe the experiences we design have the power to shape a better future. This is why we're passionate about putting sustainability and inclusion at the core of the interactions we create. This is the essence of what Sparks call Conscious Experiences: designing spaces and interactions that are inclusive, sustainable, and meaningful. It’s about embedding respect, care, and thoughtfulness into every element of an experience—ensuring that everyone feels welcome, valued, and seen. In this thought-provoking piece for Campaign UK, Jason Megson, our SVP International, explores how conscious design can drive meaningful change – ensuring that every experience not only resonates, but also aligns with the values that matter most to audiences today. The article highlights why inclusivity and sustainability are not just ethical imperatives but smart business strategies that foster trust and loyalty. Design is a melting pot of perspectives, cultures, and voices. Embracing diversity in design isn’t just about representation; it’s about unlocking creativity and innovation. Here’s why diversity matters: 🌍 Global Perspectives: Design isn’t one-size-fits-all. Different cultures and backgrounds bring unique insights and approaches to problem-solving. Embracing diversity ensures our designs resonate with diverse audiences worldwide. 🔍 Unique Experiences: Diversity breeds creativity. By embracing different viewpoints, we uncover new ideas and possibilities, leading to more innovative and inclusive designs. It’s the diversity of thought that drives design forward. 🤝 Empathy and Understanding: Designing for diverse users requires empathy and understanding. By actively seeking diverse perspectives, we can create experiences that cater to a broader range of needs and preferences. Let’s celebrate the rich tapestry of diversity in design and harness its power to create a more inclusive and impactful future. 🌟 What do you think? #DiversityInDesign #Inclusion #Creativity

New site is up—let’s make some brands! Over the years, I’ve stacked up experience in all kinds of design—and learned a key truth along the way: Great design needs a great team to make it work. That’s why I’ve built a team that combines award-winning design with deep marketing expertise to solve one big challenge: brand growth. So fortunate that a lot of our business has come through word of mouth, but now it’s time to show the world what we do. Here’s how we make it simple: Growth Engine – For brands ready for a big, strategic push to fuel growth. Turnkey+ – For brands that need fast, effective solutions without cutting corners. If you’re a big company navigating brand growth challenges. We got you. If you’re a small company navigating brand growth challenges. We got you. If you’re seeking DEI, we’re certified LGBTBE. Empowering Change Through Design: The bggr cr8v Alter Ego Program 🌍 What a week, Ive experienced a lot of Egos the past few days, too many in fact I needed a break, so this what is Wednesday let's talk about: "What is an Alter Ego" !?! 🤔 The bggr cr8v Alter Ego program was created to help business leaders while addressing a crucial gap in the design industry: the lack of diversity and representation. By reimagining Carl Jung’s brand archetypes into superhero identities, this program empowers business owners to take bold action in their business, community, and planet. The creative force behind this initiative? A talented group of underrepresented designers who bring fresh, diverse perspectives. This program isn't just about discovering your hero identity; it's about supporting diversity, sustainability, and creating real change. I'm seeking 9 business owners ready to become community beacons, driving sustainable change and inspiring others. The deadline to join has been extended to September 30th. 📆 If you’re prepared to lead with purpose, this is your opportunity. Let’s work together to transform your business and community. Join the Alter Ego program and be part of something bigger. 🌟 #DiversityInDesign #SustainableBranding #EcoHeroes #Empowerment #CommunityImpact #BusinessTransformation #AlterEgo #UnderrepresentedCreatives #DesignForGood #BeTheChange

Community Impact. A grey area, full of nuances that need to be thought through, considered, and measured. It's one of those things inherent to the human dimension: created for good, yet with potential negative consequences if we fail to recognize the systemic connections. But what if we do take notice? Then we can change the world. This is the third pillar of Crafting Responsible Experiences, another opportunity to reflect on and write about things that have the potential to transform.
Community is something that must be nurtured. In today’s digital world, every product or service we design shapes the spaces where people connect, collaborate, and find belonging. With this impact comes a profound responsibility — to ensure these spaces uplift, include, and protect. Community impact is about creating digital experiences that amplify diverse voices, and bridge divides. It’s about recognizing the ripple effects of every interaction, from a single comment to a global movement, and ensuring we contribute positively to both online and offline worlds. Equitable Design: Experiences for Everyone Equitable design isn’t just accessibility, it’s creating experiences that empower everyone, regardless of abilities or background. Why It Matters: → Access creates opportunity: More people can engage and benefit. → Representation builds trust: Thoughtful design makes people feel seen. → Inclusion resonates deeply: It’s good for business and humanity. How to Design Equitably: → Start with empathy: Understand diverse needs. → Co-create solutions: Include underrepresented voices. → Test inclusively:: Ensure designs work for all contexts. Equitable design is like a bridge, it connects everyone. When design includes all, we all move forward together.
