THE DUAL MARKETS PARADOX : Believe it or not! Are we always surrounded by two markets? Yes, Probably! The first market is visible on our screens, while the second, more influential market operates relentlessly in our minds. Reflect on your past mistakes, big or small, that led to losses. Were they due to the visible market on your screen or the unseen market in your mind? The screen-based market offers numerous signals to protect you, but the mind-based market often dominates, ignoring these warnings. The screen-based market confronts you with reality, whereas the mind-based market fosters false hope. The screen-based market advises cutting losses promptly, promising recoveries and substantial rewards. In contrast, the mind-based market encourages holding onto losing positions, fueled by hope. The screen-based market operates on data, circumstances, technicals, and fundamentals. Conversely, the mind-based market runs on false hope and wishful thinking. To succeed in the screen-based market, you need hardcore knowledge, practice, and discipline. However, the mind-based market requires daydreaming, temple visits, and prayers. But, as we know, relying on shortcuts or flawed approaches ultimately leads to failure, as even divine forces don't support such endeavors. The honest truth is: the 'Screen-based Market' wants to grow you by making you disciplined, whereas the 'Mind-based Market' destroys your hard-earned capital brutally by keeping you indisciplined. To achieve success in the stock market, it's crucial to eliminate the mind-based market from your mindset, recognizing it as an illusion. Only one market truly exists – the screen-based market. Valuable insight from the report, which claims that "The rapid rise of instantaneous electronic communications, followed by social media, intensified the feeling that risks are at once individualized, interdependent, and ever-present, << increasing people’s anxiety about moving toward a future >> that seems more and more uncertain. What we now characterize as risk is the convergence of these various streams into an era of uncertainty." Therefore we have ti prepare to make the most out of uncetainty in terms of employing it as an opportunity for growth and progress.
