We regularly visit site through the process but having a presence at the start is paramount. There’s multiple ways to challenge a contractors cost… We never accept initial quotes first time round as there’s multiple ways we can save client money by simply looking deeper into the proposed work and suggesting alterations and/or more cost effective solutions. Something so simple can save you thousands. We’re boring and consistent enough that developers are incorporating our costs into their appraisal numbers because they know what we bring to the table. How long is going to take to global leaders and decission makers to understand that #GreenEnergyTransition is not feasible in the short / medium term??? And it will not be feasible until the electricity grid is improved, until energy storage is developed and until the electrical system is modernized to provide it with flexibility to handle the variability of #Wind and #Solar... If, while the growing demand for #Electricity continues adding stress to an already overloaded system, we continue without realizing that increasing the share of #Renewables is not enough to get rid of dependence on #FossilFuels, the only thing we will achieve is to perpetuate the #EnergyTrilemma.

End of year review nearly done and whilst there are positive signs across the board, the number I’m happiest with is 92%. 92% is the percentage of clients that have placed more than one project with us, engaged into a retainer or provided a LOI for future works. The tricky part is convincing established developers that just because they have an existing solution; their current process isn’t what is best commercially or operationally for their business. 92% of people that took the chance agree.
