Let’s Talk About Holiday Stress Holidays are supposed to be magical, right? But let’s face it—under all the sparkle, they can feel like a pressure cooker. Gift-giving that’s often performative. The consumerism. Holiday parties pile up, and some of them you’d rather skip (the exhaustion of small anyone?). The free time that comes with vacation but not really knowing what to do with all the time since we’re not used to having it to begin with. The food and drinks are everywhere, and before you know it, you’re on your third slice of pie wondering what happened to your goals. And let’s not forget how short and dark the days are. It’s so easy to get caught up in trying to do it all, and create the image of a lovely holiday season, but here’s the thing: we don’t have to. This year, let yourself off the hook. Ask yourself: Do I really want to go to that party, or would I be happier with a movie night in sweats? Do I have to get everyone the “perfect” gift, or can I simplify with something thoughtful but easy? What can I do to really control my time, enjoy the days, and preempt any drama? Focus on what actually matters to you. Prioritize your time, protect your energy, and skip the stuff that feels like too much. The holidays aren’t about doing everything—they’re about doing what makes you happy. So, chill out. You don’t need to please everyone. You don’t need to show up for every event. Give yourself permission to just be. What’s one thing you’re letting go of this holiday season? Let me know—I’d love to hear! #HolidayStress #SimplifyTheSeason #Boundaries
