Before starting your 2024… You have to read this. Are you stuck in the same place? Or are you willing to deal with the discomfort, to grow and evolve. You are able to predict a person’s success by seeing how open they are to deal with work and discomfort. Make that first step today. Here are 4 frameworks to start 2024 the right way: 1. 30 for 30 challenge - By Sahil Bloom Do one thing that you want to improve at, for 30 mins per day, every day, for 30 days straight. 30 days of consistent effort can make a significant impact on your life. 30 minutes a day is short enough to mentally accept the challenge but long enough to make a difference. 30 days of 30 minutes a day is 900 minutes of focused, accumulated effort. Be prepared to be shocked. The results will be life-changing. 2. Learn 10x more effectively - Feynman Technique Study your subject so well and so deeply and then aim to be able to teach it to kids. Understand the true concept, rather than merely the name of the subject. Remove the jargon and complexity and use words and simplicity for a 12-year-old. Test your knowledge by teaching someone else. If they too can learn it quickly and effectively, you have made real progress. 3. Prioritise ruthlessly - The Pareto Principle (80/20 rule) 80% of results come from your top 20% of efforts. Understand what’s driving your best results and double down on it. Its not just about focusing on the good. Its about NOT focusing on the bad. Ruthless prioritisation is about saying no more than you say yes. Stop wasting time and focus on unproductive work. Dramatically increase your performance. 4. Habit Stacking - by James Clear Habits are much easier to complete by having a system or a stack. You have strong habits already, taking a morning shower, making a coffee or opening the blinds. Make habits easy to complete by stacking them on top of your established daily habits. This will build strong routines and drive the effectiveness of your new desired habits. Examples: Go for a 30 min walk after my morning coffee. Write a plan for tomorrow after I brush my teeth in the evening. Do 50 sit-ups before I shower. So When you feel discomfort, remember: The best results come from stepping outside the comfort zone. How are you going to make 2024 your year? Let me know in the comments below ⬇️ Happy New Years everyone. I hope I have added value to your year. - - - - - If you liked this content, ♻️ repost this and follow Chris Donnelly

These are such great tips Chris Donnelly No.4 is great - I love habit stacking and I’m a big believer in what gets measured gets accomplished. One thing I’ve also learnt in the past year is the importance of letting bad habits go. It’s so difficult to stack good habits on top of bad habits. They compete with one another and in the end we have to choose which path we want to go down. I’ve also been reading about the importance of health, and the gut-brain connection. It’s insane 🤯 what we eat has a direct influence on our mood, personality and brain efficiency- it’s actually scary!

We don't want to move and change, we love our comfort zone. But remember the hardest pain comes from the regret not from any physical torture. Thank you for sharing this Chris Donnelly
