ARX featured in a recent article by Molly Cooper for The Manufacturer. Molly visited our AVA Bridge & Lift demonstration site in Sittingbourne to see first-hand the next evolution in rail #accessibility for people of reduced mobility: https://lnkd.in/erkYr_bz The article follows the AVA story through the eyes of the consortium members, and how they have tackled the challenge of creating accessible footbridges and passenger lifts. The AVA system is quicker to build, more reliable, longer lasting, lower maintenance, cheaper to manage, and with far greener credentials than existing options. Quoted in the article is ARX's Darren Falkingham, sharing how we re-imagined the passenger lift from the ground up. The AVA Lift directly addresses key issues such as lift door breakdowns and drive system reliability. Innovative Ice-Breaking: Our detachable bow design proves it’s value! 😎 Our detachable bow design has already demonstrated it's effectiveness in various and challenging ice conditions. This unique approach allows our icebreaker to navigate through different types of ice, open waterways and operate in complex environments – for example, working alongside offshore wind farms and other vessels. ⛴ 🏗 Thanks to our technology we can enhance operational flexibility, improve safety and reduce environmental impact, while delivering good maneuverability and efficiency in critical situations. Using this design is a big step forward, enabling us to adapt to changing maritime conditions and increase operational efficiency in strategic areas. 🌍🌿 We are continuing to develop and improve our technology to perform even more effective tests and start operations next season. 💪 #maritimeIndustry #icebreakingTechnology #innovationAtSea
