A day in the life of a property developer….. Some of you may wonder (or not! 🤪) what it’s like to be a property developer Like many businesses, it can be riddled with challenges 😬 The site that we are currently purchasing has presented many issues. This, has caused many delays 😱 Here are a few that I’ve faced: ☀️ The people selling it took 5 months to send the information to my solicitor begore we could begin the process ☀️ They changed the terms of the sale and didn’t tell me this until 6 months into the purchase! ☀️ We discovered bats in one of the derelict buildings on the site. Bats are protected species, so this delayed the planning application process as we had to carry out bat surveys, which can only take place between May and September. I have actually come to love them and want to ensure that we do everything we can to keep them safe It’s really tested my patience and resilience but I wouldn’t be doing anything else. Developing old, period properties is one of my passions. I’ll be using recycled, up cycled and reclaimed materials as much as possible. I’ll also be looking at reducing the environmental impact of every decision I make as building sustainability is also very important to me What challenges have you faced and overcome in your business?

'' Do you know that engine oils used in the lubrication of internal combustion engines are a serious danger that threatens human health and natural life by polluting the streets, plains, seas, air of the world every day, every hour, every minute, every second. EXHAUST MEASUREMENT The measurements carried out at exhaust inspection stations measure toxic substances such as smoke (CO2 + HC + NO + SO'2), cannot minimize the rate of toxic gas, and cannot be a definitive and permanent solution.
