Don't use Data integrator for Dual Write as that is legacy......instead, install Dual Write component from LCS portal under power platform integration. The steps in below post summarise the steps.
If you are trying to run Data Integrator under the Dual Write solution, don't. This is legacy and it should be removed. Under data integrator Microsoft do not develop this anymore. So, STOP all DW maps . Unlink everything in DW. And the uninstall/remove all data integrator components that have been installed. Login to Dynamics LCS portal with the correct account (important !), select the correct Environment you want to integrate with DW. Then in Dynamics LCS portal and under the Power Platform integration, install the Dual write component. Then open Dw page in FnO and enable the link (if it's not already). Then complete the rest... start Dw maps, first with a sync, then should go into live running mode. For any help, get in touch. Follow my page for more on Dual Write. In my next post, I will be writing about Dual write for Field Service, specifically getting Dual Write maps for Work orders working !

Not only are business central insights out of the box dashboards helpful, the data model itself is easy to use (unlike bc odata entities) and you can connect an excel pivot table to it directly. Answers the business question…this is great but how do I get it to excel!? This is a great tool for accounting and others who just want the data too!
🚨 Power BI and Business Central Users – Important Update! 🚨 Are you using #BusinessCentral as the data source for your #PowerBI reports and encountering the following error? “The OData connector failed with the following error: We cannot convert the value null to type Record…” You're definitely not alone!
