#ManVsProstate: With the upcoming EAU meeting in Paris and AUA meeting in San Antonio, it is time for a strategic realignment of our efforts. First, we all need to pull together to support all the efforts of our academic Defenders of the Detrusor as they lead the charge with their carefully designed and insightful research. Second, I can best support them by reaching directly out to the masses with the BPH360 podcast and the MVP MANifesto. Dovetailing our efforts on two different fronts will provide the momentum needed to realize a reimagined BPH BPO care pathway.

VG episode of Spotlight. You can essentially see it as a microcosm of the last decade and a half of Scottish policy and politics.
We're back for Season 4 of the #UofGSpotlight podcast! 💡 🎧 Episode 1 focuses on the newly published #ProgrammeforGovernment. Nicola McEwen and Kezia Dugdale from the UofG Centre for Public Policy, speak with Rt Hon Ken Macintosh, former Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, and Liz Lloyd, former Strategic Adviser and Chief of Staff to the First Minister of Scotland. As two very experienced practitioners in this political event, they dive into its content and what it means for the direction of this government along with the process involved in drafting and scrutinising the PfG. Just announced: Members and friends of London Futurists are invited to meet over drinks and a light meal for a roundtable discussion of whatever's on people's minds about the future. 6pm, Wed 2nd Oct For example, attendees may offer 5-10 minutes of their views about: 1) A brief review of a book, or film, or podcast episode, that they would recommend to other futurists; 2) A question that's on their mind, and they really wish they could hear a good answer; 3) A short commentary on a recent news story (e.g. a technological innovation, or some proposed political action); 4) A request for specific assistance on a futurist-related project they are running (or hope to run). Come to the meeting prepared to offer a few minutes of joined-up thinking on one of the above topics. Or, come simply to listen, perhaps to speak up if the spirit strikes you, and to meet old and new friends. RSVP here: https://lnkd.in/eqwQEQpZ

Listen to part 5 here. FYI: Kenya’s Cabinet recently greenlit the sale of seven additional SOEs, bringing the total to seventeen. Moreover, the Privatization Bill 2023 has reshaped the landscape, ushering in new regulations under the Privatization Act 2023, replacing its 2005 predecessor.
