To realize our Gender Ambition, we've implemented comprehensive global initiatives, including: - Diverse candidate lists and inclusive selection committees for hiring as well as Board involvement in senior appointments - Enhanced focus on equal opportunities in talent development, including mentoring and coaching programs - Flexible part-time and parental leave options as well as extensive family support services - Rigorous KPI measurement We're also committed to region-specific programs and fully endorse our 15 women's networks worldwide. #InternationalWomensDay #TeamMunichRe #DEI #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion

#awareness #women #rights #jobs #challenges #work Recently I can read many post's about women's face many issues in offices/companies. I have a Question. Can We Shatter the Glass Ceiling? What radical changes can we make to create a workplace where women can thrive and reach their full potential? Women in the workplace face various challenges, including gender bias, discrimination, harassment, and stereotyping. They often struggle to balance work and family responsibilities, leading to stress and burnout. Unconscious bias and limited opportunities for advancement also hinder their success. To address these issues, organizations must promote gender equality, diversity, and inclusion through policies and practices like training, equal pay, and flexible work arrangements. By doing so, we can create a more equitable and supportive work environment for women to thrive.

As we celebrate Pride Month, let's reflect on how we can make our workplaces more inclusive. Research shows that women tend to apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications, while men apply when they meet just 60%. This highlights the importance of clear and specific job descriptions to attract diverse talent, including those from different gender identities. Check your job postings to ensure they are clear and inclusive, and help us create a more equitable workplace for all. It’s #InternationalWomensDay and after an insightful morning kick-off by our fabulous female Directors Amy Kirby & Daniela Mamica at Aspire, I was keen to look into how gender diversity relates to the recruitment industry. Whilst researching, I read a report that shared that almost 30% of recruitment firms in the UK have less than 5% female leaders at board level and another 32% only have between 21-50%. Another recent report shows that Gen Z who are now entering the workforce see gender diversity in a business as a non-negotiable. With recruitment being an ever-growing industry, we need to find ways to ensure that firms are championing females in leadership positions to ensure the new workforce entering the market sees the career opportunities available to all. I am proud to say that WeAreAspire has a 50% split of men and women at board level globally, which enables a Gen Z like myself to see the progression opportunities available to me! Statistics are great, however what is really important is the HOW. How do we as an industry improve gender equality to ensure that we evolve and also become excellent examples to the clients we advise day to day on their own hiring strategies. Here’s a few tips from a recent Indeed report: 💡Increase hiring diversity 💡Review equal pay laws 💡Consider updating your DEI training 💡Revise pay secrecy policies 💡Provide mentorship for everyone #IWD #InternationalWomensDay2024 #Recruitment #GenderDiversity #DEI #Equality
