💫 For 2024 and beyond, meet the new constellation of our Digital West Finance Team. Please join us in welcoming them to Earlybird! We’re happy to introduce our CFO Jochen Küst. With extensive experience in capital management, auditing, and finance operations, he joins the team to lead our Finance department. Hailing from Earlybird’s city of origin Hamburg, Jochen tackles new projects and focuses on team orchestration – so he’s destined to be a great fit. In addition, we’re pleased to announce Johannes Ziegler, FRM, SCR as Managing Director and Head of Risk. Johannes brings knowledge and experience from heading risk functions in the alternative assets industry in Germany and Luxembourg, including 8 years at Aquila Capital. He covered a broad range of asset classes – especially across renewables, energy transition, real estate, infrastructure, and private equity. We also greet Daniel Caspar as our VP Finance. Daniel brings top qualifications and leadership from the PE industry. As a former auditor and accountant, he contributes broad expertise from the financial industry in Luxembourg. Daniel also guest lectures in International Accounting and will be based in Berlin. 🫡 With these changes, we extend our gratitude to Heiko Thiel who served as CFO of Earlybird for over 15 years. Heiko navigated our team with hard-earned experience and a steady demeanor.
