😋 Continuing our Vision Lab Interview Series, please meet tasteit, a social network for food lovers that connects people through local gastronomy. Tasteit was founded by Giorgi Urushadze. After realizing the necessity of human connection post-pandemic, Giorgi came up with the idea to use people’s universal love of food to help people form new connections. Let’s explore his journey! 💫 What problem are you solving? Current digital platforms struggle to provide genuine connections among users. As people increasingly seek authenticity and meaningful interaction, there’s a gap in platforms focusing on building relationships through shared food experiences. Tasteit caters to food enthusiasts, offering a platform to connect over shared culinary interests while restaurants can partner with TasteIt to feature their dishes, connecting them with a focused customer base. 👩🏼🤝👩🏽 How did you meet your co-founders and when did you decide to start a company together? I am technically the solo founder, but I consider my amazing team as co-founders. From day 1, they played a vital role in developing our social network platform for food lovers. 📝 What is something you wish you had learned earlier in your life? Nothing. Every mistake I've made, even due to a lack of knowledge or experience, became a great lesson. Tasteit aspires to build a worldwide food community that brings people together through the love of food – a natural connection point throughout human history. Thank you, Giorgi, for sharing your approach with us!
