Since the inception of EarlySight, we have consistently attended the Euretina Congress, and the traction around our booth this year is a clear sign of the growing interest in adaptive optics within the community. Single-cell imaging is yet to become the reference modality, but it’s too important to miss. 👁️✨ The event brought together key players in retina care, providing a valuable opportunity to engage with the entire spectrum of stakeholders—ophthalmologists, optometrists, pharma, fellow medical device companies, and distributors. The outcome of this event goes beyond opening new business opportunities; it has also sparked a renewed wave of enthusiasm as we continue our mission to transform Adaptive Optics imaging from a sophisticated laboratory tool into a clinically relevant and user-friendly device: 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲. 🚀🔬 A special thanks to our dedicated users who presented at #Euretina24: Aude Ambresin, Andrea Cusumano, Francine Behar-Cohen, and Mihaela Chitoroaga 🙌 And a big thank you to our distributors: ALPHA EYES , Biomed Healthcare & MedTech Consulting, EMETROP', Instinctive Limited, Hongda Medical Equipment, OftalMedica, OftalTech Solutions Lastly, our gratitude to the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA) for organizing such an outstanding event. 👏👏

The 'Gemini Digital Twin Platform' produced by Q Bio was one of the companies profiled as a part of Signify Research Ltd's new 'Digital Precision Medicine' study. After the company announced $27M was raised during its most recent round of funding, our MRI expert Bhvita Jani and Premium Insights Editor Phil Grainger took a closer look at the vendor to ask 'what is the potential for a full-body MRI scan in preventative healthcare?' A controversial concept yes, but despite concerns around the practice there is considerable investor appetite for companies in this space. "Q Bio could disrupt the burgeoning market, and its technology may have an impact on the wider clinical MRI market if it can live up to its promises. Established modality vendors will be paying close attention to the market and considering how to position themselves if and when the opportunity matures." - Phil Grainger Click the link in the below post to sign up for a free trial to read the full analysis, or I you'd like to learn more about our Digital Precision Medicine study click here: https://lnkd.in/dkWCgGka #signifyresearch #digitaltwin #healthcaremarketresearch #healthcareinvestment
Q Bio Inc. has raised $27 million to commercialise its full-body MRI scanner, a technology that sparks debate in preventative healthcare. While these scans are considered appropriate in specific cases, such as for patients with Li-Fraumeni syndrome, there is no clinical evidence supporting their use for average-risk individuals. Critics could also argue that they could create a false sense of security, leading patients to neglect regular screenings and potentially causing more harm than good. Meanwhile, Ezra has expanded its reach through a new partnership with RAYUS Radiology, offering its services at 150 locations across the U.S., while Neko is concentrating on measuring patient outcomes to bolster the case for full-body MRI. The question remains: Can Q Bio carve out a niche for this controversial technology? #MRI #QBio #Neko #Ezra https://lnkd.in/ez94PsFB

We are excited to announce that Pro Health Saúde in Brazil is the first institution to acquire the innovative NAEOTOM Alpha photon-counting CT scanner. This milestone marks an important step for the region, as the NAEOTOM Alpha is the first photon-counting CT scanner to be installed in Latin America. This device represents a quantum leap in CT imaging, offering a range of benefits over conventional CT scanners, including: 🌟 Unprecedented image quality: The NAEOTOM Alpha provides images with up to 45% less noise and up to 20% more resolution, allowing for more detailed visualization of anatomical structures. 🌟 Reduced radiation dose: The NAEOTOM Alpha can significantly reduce the radiation dose by up to 80% compared to conventional CT scanners, while maintaining image quality. This is particularly beneficial for pediatric patients and patients requiring multiple CT scans. 🌟 Expanded clinical applications: The features of the NAEOTOM Alpha go beyond traditional applications, enabling more advanced procedures with double the quality in each acquired image. Congratulations to Pro Health Saúde, which today becomes a benchmark in cutting-edge technology that will allow them to provide patients with the most advanced and accurate CT images available, leading to better diagnoses, treatment planning, and patient outcomes. #SiemensHealthineers #Innovations #LatinAmerica #CT Chang Maurice Philipp Fischer Armando C.
