In his book 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 3 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧, he urged us to rethink rural development and sustainability. We've embraced two of his key ideas: 1. 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: By providing sustainable alternatives and decarbonizing the built environment. 2. 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Using entrepreneurship to accelerate progress toward our Net Zero by 2030 goal. To the students: Your ideas are the key to unlocking a sustainable future! Whether it's clean energy, eco-friendly urban planning, or innovative waste management—your dreams can shape a better tomorrow. With 50 tailored recommendations, the framework addresses common entrepreneurial challenges and promotes the development of sustainable and impactful businesses among youth. By equipping young entrepreneurs with the necessary tools and insights, YBI seeks to foster a new generation of innovators who can thrive in today’s dynamic economic landscape while making a positive contribution to society and the environment. Conversations around going green have been prominent in the public sphere for a considerable time now. Yet, the frequency of “green” phenomena being referred to is much greater than the frequency of them being actualized. Green entrepreneurship, or the adoption of environment-friendly techniques to carry out business is a case in point. Even though we have spoken about the environment often, how often have businesses actually walked the talk? How seriously do we take the environment and should Green Entrepreneurship be an arena of its own in 2023? In conclusion, the role of green entrepreneurship in battling climate change is multifaceted, crucial and indispensable. By driving innovation, advocating for sustainable practices, influencing policies, and educating consumers, green entrepreneurs are instrumental in steering societies towards a more sustainable world and a resilient planet. Innovation and advocacy form the backbone of green entrepreneurship, propelling the development and implementation of impactful ideas. Whenever we talk about communicating and disseminating project results, we refer to activities intended to ensure that results are appropriately recognised, proven, and implemented on a wide scale to ensure the sustainability of the project. There are a few objectives to the WP 7 Communications, Dissemination and Sustainability Plan led by acceleration partner, @Momentum. The Accelerate Future HEI project aims to transform HEIs, helping them amplify their capabilities and realise their potential to drive knowledge and innovation. By reinforcing HEIs' role as drivers of regional and European ecosystems, we support shared objectives between the EU and Member States’ initiatives, ultimately transforming HEIs' activities and service to society missions.
