Week one of Spring 2025 is officially in the books! 📚✨ Looking back at Monday when we were scraping ice off our windshields (and our brains), and now seeing how much we've all accomplished in just one week – that's momentum! As we wrap up this first week, here's some wisdom from Maya Angelou that every grad student should keep in their back pocket: “You may encounter defeats, but you must not be defeated.” And isn't that what grad school is all about? Whether it's a challenging assignment, a lengthy reading, or just finding parking on campus (we've all been there!), it's not about avoiding obstacles – it's about staying determined despite them. Take a moment to celebrate your small wins – they're the building blocks of your bigger success story. Whether you submitted your first assignment, connected with a new classmate, or simply got your study schedule organized, you're already making progress forward!
