When I speak to many people about #skateboarding they can understand the size of the market. But many still do not know the market and the many more growing potential of the #fingerboarding community. #Fingerboard had been around ever since the #60s as just a #keychain novelty item. Crazy that over #60years and now has #evolved into somewhat of a #phenomenon Today many who are in the #business of #retailshops can understand the current struggles of trying to sell a product or service. Yes #economy is taking a downfall in many countries but when it come to a certain #unique #special products, it is in a #classofitsown Spending maybe down in most sectors, products and services; but it is only #shifted to what people want to buy especially when it come to #fingerboardproducts Its demand will continue to #rise as many more markets are #introduce For all that I already has a #skateboardretailshop I highly urge for the #owners to think about #strengthen an existing community so that in the end, your #bottomline is in the strong #green Adding fingerboard products to your existing skateboard #inventory surely cannot hurt as it will bring more #customers to your store and provide more #communitybuildingevents such as #competitions #charity #productannouncements opportunities. UTS50 (well it should be 58) Completed! I managed to finish the race in just under 11 hours and can confirm it was by far the hardest one I have done to date – most of the second half was spent regretting signing up and currently I can only walk downstairs one step at a time 😃. That said, now the dust has settled I am back on track reviewing what went wrong/right and starting to plan future races (maybe the 100k race next year?). Many thanks for those who have sponsored me we have raised over £1,700 towards a really important cause. https://lnkd.in/dC6FF9y9 Few takeaways: 1) Plan you're own water strategy rather than opting for the minimum allowed - 1l of fluid for 3.5 hours and 1000m climbing was never enough 2) Be flexible with eating - I had divided supplies into phases and didn't flex this when a phase took twice as long as I planned 3) If it's hot (and it was) utilise the streams as often as possible to wet your body 4) Just keep moving at all time 5) If there is a bull on your path jump the fence into the bulls field 6) Don't complain too much if you are already planning to do the 100k version next year 🤣
