🌍 EcoTech Challenge – Pioneering Innovative Technologies for a Sustainable Future 🌎 Dublin City University Business School’s Digital Business and Innovation students recently teamed up with Uisce Éireann Irish Water for a Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) experience, where they tackled key customer experience challenges. This challenge was designed to future-proof students with the competencies and skills required to leverage digitalisation, address societal challenges and provide unique value to organisations. The challenge was also open to students from the ECIU (European Consortium of Innovative Universities), underscoring the global scope and collaborative spirit driving this initiative, with each student bringing unique perspectives to the table. Working closely with Uisce Éireann’s Michael Taylor (Innovation Manager) and Leona Berry (Customer Experience Manager), students from DCU,  University of Trento and Lodz University of Technology, developed creative, actionable solutions grounded in real-world insights and stakeholder engagement. This collaboration allowed students to dive into customer-centred research, community surveys, and international best practices to understand and improve customer experiences with Uisce Éireann. Dr. Cliona McParland, Programme Chair, spoke of the benefits to both students and clients: “The ongoing mentorship from Michael and Leona has helped transform students’ ideas into thought-provoking, tangible outcomes that Uisce Éireann can take forward. Collaborations like these prepare our students for the complexities of real-world innovation while providing valuable, practical insights to industry partners." #DBI #ChallengeBasedLearning #CustomerExperience #Innovation #DigitalBusiness #UisceÉireann #ECIU #RealWorldLearning #SustainableInnovation #FutureLeaders
