In the digital marketing space in 2024, understanding tracking and attribution are super important! I see most brands have broken GA4s or app measurement platforms. They optimise their campaigns for fairy tale metrics and then wonder why their business numbers don't go up. At HiveMinds the first thing we audit is tracking and attribution. Everything else is secondary! With the adoption of highly automated campaigns, it's truly "garbage in and garbage out". If you ask the algorithms to optimize for junk, there's no point being surprised when you get junk in results. Eg.
