As we crossed the halfway mark of 2024, it’s a remarkable time to reflect on the incredible journey we've had so far. While Oracle doesn’t operate by the calendar year, this six-month milestone allows us to pause and appreciate our achievements in the Gulf region. Oracle CloudWorld Tour in Dubai celebrated achievements like launching two dedicated cloud regions, setting up innovation hubs, and the addition of hyperscale AI capabilities to Oracle’s OCI dedicated region. Similarly at LEAP event in Riyadh, we set our sights on supporting Saudi Arabia’s ambitious AI economy goals. The event, punctuated by the electrifying Oracle Red Bull Racing experience, was a launchpad for innovative discussions and collaborations that have already begun to bear fruit. Later in May, we had our Public Sector event, where we hosted a number of government entities and hosted Dr. Khaled Alhazmi as keynote speaker from Digital Government Authority. The event stressed the need and showcased the progress for the move to cloud among government entities. Here are a few headlines of our 2024 journey: AI and Cloud Innovations: Our collaborative projects, particularly in Saudi Arabia, are driving the nation closer to its audacious AI and digital transformation economy targets Strategic Partnerships: This year, we’ve forged new alliances with tech pioneers and government entities, becoming catalysts for unprecedented growth and innovation. Partnership with stc to drive joint GTM in KSA public sector cloud market. Similarly we had an impactful partnership agreement with du to target the sovereign PS market. Customer Success: From streamlining operations to powering cutting-edge solutions, our technologies have enabled countless organisations to achieve their goals, with numerous Go-lives celebrated from many organizations. Talent Development: Oracle has launched several initiatives aimed at upskilling the workforce. The Mostaqbali program in KSA targets all Saudi nationals for a wealth of training courses and certifications. Oracle has continued with its global Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) initiative. OWL’s mission is to develop, engage, and empower current and future generations of female leaders at Oracle. We're investing in future leaders who will drive the next wave of technological advancement. Reflecting on these accomplishments, I am filled with gratitude for our dedicated teams, visionary partners, and forward-thinking clients. Your relentless pursuit of excellence has been the cornerstone of our achievements. As we continue to push the boundaries of innovation, let's remain inspired by the positive change we’re creating.
