"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it." —William Arthur Ward I don’t think we prioritize gratitude enough in the workplace. It’s not enough to just feel it; you’ve got to let your team know how you feel every day. What are your thoughts on this quote? #LeadershipDevelopment #MotivationalMonday

Let's jump into three key areas of focus together. I will outline each area with key points, provide a reflection question, and end with a group discussion question. I hope you all find this journey enriching and inspiring. #consulting#denverbusinessowner#coloradobusinessowner#coachingonline hashtag#coachinghashtag#equityandinclusion#inclusion#consultingcompanyhashtag#denverhashtag#denvercolorado#workbooks#businesshashtag#equityineducationhashtag#embraceequity#teams#teamculturehashtag#mentorhashtag#mentoring#culture#cultureandinclusion

What are some prioritizations in your five year plan? I've been focusing on my next five years, and in that five year plan, I've prioritized embracing and expressing sincere gratitude, recognizing its profound impact not just on myself but also on those around me. Research, such as the findings shared in this HBR article, underscores how a genuine compliment can make a significant difference, both for the giver and the receiver. My aim is to foster a culture where unprovoked, heartfelt appreciation becomes a cornerstone of our interactions, enriching both our professional and personal lives. “Gratitude is not about a one-time holiday party, day off, or spot bonus…It is about creating a culture of gratitude.” -Aron Ain #culture #prioritization #gratitude #sincere #hbs #harvardreview #positive #positivity #worklife #worklifebalance

A stark contrast. Long queues at the complaint counter, and a lonely gratitude desk. It's a reflection of our lives. We often focus on what’s going wrong, rather than appreciating what’s going right. Let's change that! Start acknowledging the positive, express gratitude, and watch how it transforms your environment and mindset. So the next time you feel like complaining, take a moment to recognize and appreciate the good around you. #Gratitude #PositiveMindset #PersonalDevelopment #coachmanjunath

Here's a tip to increase resiliency on your team and help them push through difficulty: Express gratitude BEFORE a hard event or task. A genuine "thank you" or "we appreciate you taking this on so thoughtfully" can go a long way, and even soften the negative emotions associated with the task. Today, let's Embrace the Power of Gratitude In both our personal and professional lives, gratitude has the incredible ability to transform our perspectives and enhance our experiences. Take a moment to reflect on the little things that bring you joy—a warm cup of coffee, a heartfelt conversation with a friend, or a quiet moment of peace. Cultivating gratitude helps us appreciate what we have, rather than focusing on what we lack. It nurtures our relationships and fosters a sense of connection, reminding us that we are never alone on this journey. In the workplace, gratitude can be a game-changer. A simple “thank you” can uplift a colleague's day and strengthen team bonds. Recognizing the contributions of others not only boosts morale but also creates a culture of support and collaboration. When we express gratitude, we inspire those around us to do their best, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. Remember, gratitude isn’t just a feeling; it’s a practice. Let’s choose to see the beauty in our lives—both big and small. Let’s cultivate a life filled with appreciation, positivity, and endless possibilities! 💖 #Gratitude #Motivation #PersonalGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #HappyFriday

One of my favorite quotes from John C. Maxwell is the following: 🔥 "Intentionally add value to people every day"! 🔥 But what does that mean in concrete terms, that it doesn't just remain a typical calendar saying? By showing people that I see and respect them. I can explicitly express trust or embody trust by granting people the freedom to solve tasks and problems on their initiative. I take time for a conversation, a brief small talk, or express appreciation in a targeted manner. I ask questions and take an interest in what is currently on the person's plate. Vartan Gregorian once said: "The universe will never see anyone like YOU again in its history!" 💯 Wow, unique! Do we give people the feeling that they are exactly that? Dr. Paul White has summarized possible symptoms by which we can recognize that people experience the opposite, feeling burnt out and discouraged. Perhaps you recognize similar symptoms in your environment? How could we add value to those people? #empowerment #encouragement #appreciation #addvalue
