Amazon Ads has launched a new AI Creative tool. With so many creative generation tools hitting the market, it was only a matter of time before Amazon introduced their own. A couple of initial observations: -This seems better suited for SMBs and mid-tier brands; those without in-house creative teams or rigid brand guidelines. This can massively speed up the time to build and deliver an Amazon Ads campaign for many of these brands. -This doesn't seem production ready for enterprise brands as the output likely won't match the creative refinement of a top-tier creative agency. -It appears this tool is primarily designed for use within the Amazon Ads ecosystem, and not for export to other platforms (potential mismatch between Amazon Ads creative and website branding/imagery). As brands centralise tech, data, creative/content and audiences- I foresee a wave of point AI solutions like this one. However, the real evolution will come when brands start centralising AI itself. We are at an interesting inflection point WRT advertising and AI.
