Why did Tableau go from Rocks to Sucks?
You are too agile mate. Here is for mine. Late 90s to mid 2000s : I don’t know anything. But maybe I can make money selling apps during the IT boom. Sold some but in a developing country that does not have lots of IT, pretty much was not successful. Learnt what not to do. Mid 2000s to 2010: Confused and crisis. Did first degree in engineering. 2010 to 2013: I need to rewire my brain. I have become too much of an engineer. I am too comfortable with engineering. But still I know nothing. Started a PhD in engineering and moved to US. 2013-2021: I need stable and impactful job. Work with Siemens. From Developer to leading regional business. Moved to Australia. 2022-2024: I need to do something else. Maybe a startup and impact large population Also AI is becoming too big not to dedicatedly focus. Work on AI and blockchain, lead very impactful startups on this. 2024 - now: Oh I still don’t know anything. Common theme - hustle and keep learning.
