EGA is on the ground at COP16, which kicked off yesterday in Cali, Colombia. This Conference of the Parties (COP) is the 16th meeting on the Convention on Biological Diversity, where Parties will review the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and align their National Biodiversity Strategies with these goals. EGA is at COP16 to identify collaboration opportunities between the public and private sectors. Fostering dialogue, creating synergies, and building trust among stakeholders can accelerate progress on biodiversity protection and sustainability at scale. Regulation is a key focus at COP16.
