Absolutely great insights and conversations today with students at Åbo Akademi University AI and ML student project demonstrations 💎 These skilled young talents are tackling real-world problems with AI/ML solutions in interesting research projects for healthcare and other verticals.   All of the teams and cases were awesome. Many are working on solutions with significant present-day business potential 💰 like this team of talents including Motunrayo Ibiyo, Puja Dhakal, Shihabur Rahman Samrat and Harry Setiawan Hamjaya (missing from the picture). They are predicting and recognizing Volvo gearbox failures using ML to learn from the recorded gearbox audio! It is easy to imagine how this solution could be scaled up to monitor all kind of moving parts of different vehicles and predicting failures at early stage, far before noticed by driver or even by a skilled mechanic.
