🌟 Confidence is the key to success in our professional journeys. During a recent interview session, I encountered two contrasting examples that truly emphasized this point. The first applicant, with stellar academic credentials and internship experience, hesitated when asked about their expected stipend. When I inquired further, they mentioned being open to working without pay. Despite their impressive background, their lack of confidence was evident. On the other hand, the second applicant, hailing from IIT Guwahati, exuded confidence. When asked about her expected stipend, she confidently stated her value at 16k per month. Her self-assurance left a lasting impression. I share this story on LinkedIn because it underscores the importance of confidence in our professional lives. Regardless of your qualifications or experience, confidence in your abilities and worth is paramount. Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, commonly known as PSIT Kanpur, is a private university situated in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The institute is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and approved by AICTE. In 2023, the Times of India ranked PSIT Kanpur with 32nd position out of 170 colleges in India, and in UP, the institute bagged the 7th position. He is preparing me for the future by providing the knowledge, skills, and experiences that are valuable in the real world. Like 1.Education and Knowledge: Through the classes, I able to learn specialized knowledge in my field (e.g., Management, Accounts, Marketing or business). Example: A finance course teaches me how to manage money and make business decisions. 2.Practical Skills: Hands-on projects, labs, or workshops help me apply what I have learn. Example: In a Technical skill class, I might Knew about how to work effectively in Corporate with technical Knowlege. 3.Career Preparation: Career centers offer resume workshops, internships, and interview practice. And also providing the Coporate knowledge to know how to behave in the corporate and preparing me for that. Example: An internship at a company gives you real-world experience and networking opportunities. 4.Personal Development: Activities like group projects like (mini projects), Student presentations, and Events like International Conferences improve communication and teamwork skills. 5.Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Assignments and case studies challenge you to think creatively and solve problems. Example: Students might design solutions for real-world challenges, and able to take decisions with help of these. By these experiences, my college ensures that I am ready for jobs, challenges, and opportunities in the future.

As if my dad paying 1/3rd of his salary as taxes wasn't enough already... You now have pani puri being sold at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA) for ₹333 a plate. What are you adding in it, Gold? 🧈 You can get the same for ₹20-30 at any roadstall or even at my college BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. Now, I get that it's the airport and things are pricier, because #Realestate is expensive for food stalls, and many rich businessmen and the "I don't give a damn if it's ₹1 or ₹100" type of people travel at airports. But what about you and me, the 70% of travellers who are middle class and travel in the economy? Would you pay ₹333 for a plate of pani puri? 🤏 P.S. If this is the current situation of Pani Puri stalls, whom should I contact for a Summer Internship as a Pani Puri wala at Mumbai Airport? 🙏 #Humour #India #Economy

#Dear_connection I asked one of my seniors from IMT Nagpur that I only have a month before starting my MBA journey. How can I improve myself in these 30 days? Here are some start insights from she gave: ⭐ Start networking: Reach out to seniors or alumni via LinkedIn or college groups on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. This will help you in gaining some valuable insight. Also, they can help you with internships and projects. ⭐ Improve technical skills: Don't just learn technical skills for the sake of learning, try to become a pro slowly. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business software can be valuable in completing assignments, and projects efficiently and can create a good impression on the interviewer during placements. ⭐ Communication skills: This is a must, the time to be shy is gone! You need to overcome the fear and participate in as many conferences, and events as you can! There is no better platform than college for this. Good communication skills and public speaking give you confidence which is required once you start working. ⭐ Creating content: Today’s world is all about content, whether it’s writing a mail, posting on LinkedIn, or giving a presentation. Once you enter the corporate world, you will realize the importance of content creation. Good content is needed everywhere and to be creative enough to do so, you need to be active in college co-curricular events. At last, enjoy this 30-day gap, you may not be able to get such a long break soon. So try to improve your physical and mental health. A 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐈𝐈𝐌 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐢, marking the 22nd institution of its kind in India. It will receive support from IIM Ahmedabad. This new IIM is 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in Assam and provide career opportunities for locals. With backing from IIM Ahmedabad, its future success seems promising. However, I believe there are certain 𝐧𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 to this. Many new IIMs 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 during internships and final placements. Additionally, the 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐈𝐈𝐌𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐬 to the older ones (18-20L), but the 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 (the average salary at any new IIM is 12-16L). This indicates a lack of trust from companies in the new IIMs, impacting students' job prospects. To tackle these issues, isn't supporting existing IIMs better than opening new ones?
