The most common barrier to academic success reported by students in our surveys is a lack of adult encouragement. This barrier, often rooted in biases about which students belong in rigorous courses, significantly reduces student participation and success in programs like AP and IB. To boost student success, barriers like adult mindsets must be identified and shifted. In our next webinar, Kim Becraft of Montgomery County Public Schools and EOS’ Erika Cabrera explain how together, we are doing just that. Register here: https://lnkd.in/e2Px84hi
