Going on a mini rant here simply because I love my job, and I love helping financial Institutions drive growth. But here's the thing, I'm always struck by an all too common oversight in banking: the focus on acquiring new customers without a solid plan for retaining them. Imagine buying groceries and leaving them at the store, planting a tree and never watering it, buying a new car and never filling it with gas, cracking open a beer and never drinking it, or going fishing but not bringing a pole. In banking, attracting new customers is just the beginning.
