Developing meaningful relationships with our students can make all the difference. As educators, we must know their needs and show them they are seen, valued, and heard. It doesn't take hours, but it takes a keen observer to form deeper connections. One of my students showed me the energy he felt when he moved his hands in large, sweeping, dance-like motions to make it appear he was moving the leaves with his hands. We discussed how it felt and what we noticed, and it reminded me of Tai Chi. I found a beginner video of Tai Chi, and he followed the moves effortlessly. We can make a significant impact when we are purposeful and in tune with others. We can open up a world of possibilities by showing them something new. Let's continue to build meaningful relationships with our students and make a positive difference in their lives. #connections #relationships #HeartCentered

In celebration of Teacher's Day, we asked our teachers to share their favorite quotes. Here's one from our French Language Teacher, Ms. Pankhuri Luthra. She beautifully reminds us that "a smile costs less than electricity, but gives as much light." This simple yet powerful statement captures how smiles and positivity can brighten our lives in ways we might not always see, but always feel. #skilllive #teachersdayspecial #positivequotes #mondaymotivation #teacherquotes #inspiringteachers #teacherappreciation #foreignlanguageschool #frenchquotes

🎃 Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! 😱 Today is a day that many people consider to be unlucky, but do you know why? 🤔 In Western cultures, Friday the 13th is often thought to bring bad luck. Some people avoid traveling, making big decisions, or even leaving their house on this day! 😬 But where does this superstition come from? 🗓 The Number 13: In many cultures, the number 13 is seen as unlucky. For example, some buildings skip the 13th floor! 📅 Friday: Historically, Fridays were considered unlucky because many bad events supposedly happened on this day. However, in many cultures, Friday the 13th is just like any other day. It's interesting to see how beliefs change around the world! 🌍 Do you believe in the superstition? Or do you think it's all just a myth?
