🔍 Professional Learning from a Recent Sporting Incident 🔍 Today, Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat faced disqualification from the Olympics due to exceeding the weight limit by just 100 grams. While the news is disheartening, it provides a crucial lesson for professionals across all fields. 📉 #Attention_to_Detail_Matters In any profession, meticulous attention to detail can be the difference between success and failure. Just as Vinesh Phogat’s situation highlights the impact of seemingly minor discrepancies in a competitive setting, our work demands precision and thoroughness. 📈 #Preparedness_and_Planning Effective preparation and planning are key. In sports, this means adhering strictly to weight limits; in business, it involves understanding every detail of a project or strategy. Our success often hinges on our ability to anticipate and address small issues before they become significant obstacles. 🔄 #Resilience_and_Adaptability While this situation is a setback for Vinesh, it is also an opportunity for growth. Similarly, in our professional lives, we encounter setbacks that challenge our resilience and adaptability. Embracing these challenges and learning from them strengthens our future performance. Let’s use this moment to reflect on our own practices and ensure we are meticulous, prepared, and resilient in our professional journeys. Small details can have significant impacts, and learning from these experiences helps us excel. #ProfessionalGrowth #AttentionToDetail #Resilience #Leadership #ContinuousImprovement #VEMOULD www.vemould.com VEMOULD

To master skills, All you need to do, is to have a strong mentality to swing that first step..... Of course you will fall... Of course you will fail... Of course you will have scars and trauma along the journey... However, as long as you keep on going and focus on your goals... Those scars and failures, will become a medallion, embedded inside your heart and memory, worth more than anything world could offer, once you are standing at the top.... Failing to plan is planning to fail Dreams without a roadmap to breakdown into steps, are just empty wishes... Sic parvis magna, start small, from small things right in front of you. Anything within your grasp, anything you can smell , and your present feeling... Although We do not know where life will take us Fosho, you wont go anywhere if you dont swing that first step... #selfmotivation

When the path to achievement appears challenging and insurmountable, remember that progress begins with a single step, followed by another. Each step doesn't have to be monumental, as some suggest, the key to transformation lies in the formula: D(issatisfaction) X V(ision) X F(irst steps) > R(esistance). 🚗 When did an 8 become a fail? 🚗 Recently, I took my BMW in for some work, and the service experience was superb. The gentleman who assisted me was professional, friendly, and efficient. At the end of our interaction, he asked if I could respond to a survey email from BMW, rating his service from 1 to 10. Naturally, I agreed. He then told me a score of 8 (or lower) would be considered a fail. Wow. When did an 8 become a fail? Striving for excellence is crucial (and actually, the service I received was easily a 10/10 and I would have graded it so anyway), but isn’t it also important to recognise and appreciate strong performances, even if they aren’t perfect? Surely setting realistic expectations fosters a more encouraging environment for continuous improvement? Or am I wrong? Should we be unaccepting of anything less than 10/10 service every time? #CustomerService #Feedback #Excellence #ContinuousImprovement

Sic Parvis Magna ..!! Greatness from Small Beginnings: Embracing the Power of Incremental Progress #SicParvisMagna The Roman phrase "Sic Parvis Magna" translates to "Greatness from Small Beginnings." It's a motto that resonates deeply with me, especially in today's world where we often chase instant results. This proverb reminds us that significant achievements are built upon a foundation of consistent, incremental efforts. Every small step, every challenge overcome, brings us closer to our goals. Here's how I embrace the power of “Sic Parvis Magna” in my own professional journey: •Setting achievable daily/weekly goals: Breaking down long-term goals into smaller, actionable steps makes them less daunting and helps me stay motivated. •Celebrating small wins: Acknowledging and celebrating my progress, no matter how small, keeps me focused and energized. •Learning from setbacks: Viewing challenges as opportunities to learn and improve helps me bounce back stronger. What about you?! How do you translate "Sic Parvis Magna" into your work ethic? #motivation #success #careeradvice #nevergiveup

For anyone in their 40s, I truly believe that 40 is just the beginning, and it can be an exciting stage of life as well. At this point, you're often clear on your goals, know what you want from life, and are content to stay away from anything that doesn’t align with your values. Most people in their 20s often move from one mistake to the next. By their 30s, the focus shifts to building stability and laying the foundation for your future. By the time you reach your 40s, you’ve likely gained enough experience and learned from enough mistakes to create a more intentional and strategic path forward. That's why I truly believe that 40 is just the beginning, and it can be an exciting stage of life. #growthmindset #40sarewesome #goals #garyvee

Yeah, Gary Vaynerchuk , I totally, 100% agree that “40 isn’t even halftime yet.” Having been in it for 42 days, 13 hours, 48 minutes and 18 seconds (not that I'm counting🤷♀️). And backed by this much experience, what I can confess is: I’m barely out of the locker room, and I’m already considering a career change to professional napper, just kidding I'm psyched for this new season and it's not the coffee speaking🤣. Here’s what I’ve learned while tackling a career transition into many many things (hey, prompt engineer, business analyst, AI literacy advocate - anyone feel free to suggest a title) and launching a STEM vocational center, juggling studies, and raising two future legends (one of whom might actually be building a spaceship as we speak): 1. Time doesn’t wait ⏳—but it doesn’t run out either. 40 is just the start of the adventure (and no, I’m not just saying that to sound wise while sipping my third cup of coffee ☕). 2. Sleep is underrated 🥱—40 brings a strange craving for naps, which I’ve now decided is self-care, not laziness 3. Learning is a blast🚀—whether it’s how to parent an 8-year-old astronaut trying to send emails to NASA (I’m still waiting on a reply, BTW), or discovering I’m now excited to teach STEM subjects that younger me would’ve run from in terror. Who knew I’d become a STEM teacher in my 40s when I used to freak out over algebra? Life really does begin at 40, folks. 4. Grace is everything—and skincare💆♀️. Seriously, 40 is when your face starts talking back, so you better have a good routine . 5. Life is a comedy show🤪—I mean, who knew I’d go from restless information seeker to teaching STEM? Life is funny like that. One minute, you’re Googling “how to solve your kid’s science project,” the next, you’re teaching it like you’ve been doing it for years (minus the panic attack in the middle 😥). To all my fellow 40-somethings: What’s been the most unexpected lesson you’ve learned since turning 40🤔? And if you’re still sitting on the bench in this “halftime” period, why not learn some skills that’ll make you feel like an absolute genius by the second half? AI is where it’s at, people—let’s future-proof ourselves and have a fun while we’re at it🌻. #40AndThriving #GaryVeeInspo #AIAdventures #STEMLaughs

For years, I grappled with understanding what motivated me. Unlike many around me, I found that the allure of external rewards often diminished just moments after achieving them. This left me questioning, "What really drives me?" My quest for answers traced back to my days preparing for the IIT entrance exams and continued through my professional journey. Despite numerous challenges, it wasn’t the promise of rewards that pushed me forward—it was something more profound. It wasn’t until I read Daniel Pink’s "Drive" that I found a clear reflection of my inner motivations. Pink discusses how true motivation is not about the carrots and sticks of external rewards but about the intrinsic desires for mastery, autonomy, and purpose. Reading his words, I experienced a eureka moment. It was as if someone had put into words the feelings I’d wrestled with for so long. This book not only validated my experiences but also helped me embrace my intrinsic motivation. I realized that my drive comes from a deep desire to master my craft, the autonomy in how I work, and the underlying purpose that guides my actions. I am incredibly grateful to have a family that understands and supports this intrinsic motivation. They have never pressured me to chase external incentives but instead encouraged my pursuit of deeper, more personal aspirations. For anyone struggling to understand what motivates them, I highly recommend "Drive." It might just help you uncover the real reasons behind your actions and empower you to align your life and career with what genuinely fulfills you. #drive #motivation #mastery #autonomy #purpose
