As people of God we are not meant to follow rules but follow God. If we are obeying commandments without considering God then we are at some level doing it for ourselves. The point of God's law is to grow in our relationship with God and this calls for us putting God ahead of everything else. Only when we walk with Jesus can we start seeing the world like God does: wisdom. CHECK OUT the many Christian reflections for the scripture readings for the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Wisdom 7:7-11 and Mark 10:17-30) on Wisdom and Wealth 👇 https://lnkd.in/gDUccb3b

According to 1 Kings 13:1-26, we learn that as God's Called, Appointed and Anointed Servant of God, never disobey God's intructions when He sends you for a specific mission. Because other Servants of God(who are just like the old prophet) who have been serving God before you in the same location you're sent/assigned to minister Christ, will always mislead you and destroy your reputation out of jealousy, and by the end, they will pretend to be supportive to you while at your back, they say bad things about you. Again, diverting from God's instructions will lead you to your doom/ruined. Signs to know those who are joelousy and are after your destruction. 1. They ask about your calling and vision- as God's Anointed Servants, God would have already spoken to them about you. 2. They persue you to act as if God instructed them-didn:t they know that you are also communicating with God directly? 3. Backbiting against you to other Servants of God and the authority so as to be gaining self-benifits and popularity as an old Servants of God. 4. Misleading your disciples whom you raised -with purpose of stealing owning your anointed and calling, forgetting that God is in control abd is the owner of you. If you're a Servant of God and specially, a Prophet/Prophetess of God take note of this, and always operate within the prophetic realm of Christ Jesus and there will be no conflict of anointing. And if there's conflict, one side/party is not possessing God's Spirit May God bless you as you extend this message to the concerned Ones in Jesus Christ. ~ProphetessShelina #daughterofGod #daughterofzion @followers with Ministry of Christ for All Nations https://lnkd.in/deedA9JD

We need strong men with strong faith to stand up against the evil going on in this world. We need strong men to be prayer warriors for the souls of this world. We need strong men to advocate and share the gospel to the world. We need strong men who are eager to protect their families and their churches. We need strong men to make decisions for their families that glorify God. We need strong men to encourage and rebuke each other to stay accountable to not only ourselves, but the Lord. The examples of strong men are in the Bible. The example of a glorious God is in the Bible. Remember, faith, humility, and repentance are the daily life of a Christian.

1 Peter 3:10-16 Names of God Bible 10 “People who want to live a full life and enjoy good days must keep their tongues from saying evil things, and their lips from speaking deceitful things. 11 They must turn away from evil and do good. They must seek peace and pursue it. 12 The Lord’s eyes are on those who do what he approves. His ears hear their prayer. The Lord confronts those who do evil.” 13 Who will harm you if you are devoted to doing what is good? 14 But even if you suffer for doing what God approves, you are blessed. Don’t be afraid of those who want to harm you. Don’t get upset. 15 But dedicate your lives to Christ as Lord. Always be ready to defend your confidence in God when anyone asks you to explain it. However, make your defense with gentleness and respect. 16 Keep your conscience clear. Then those who treat the good Christian life you live with contempt will feel ashamed that they have ridiculed you.

"Worship is a solemn, reverent duty and privilege, which we are to dispense in a manner commensurate with the one whom we are worshipping. If we attempt to worship God with a wrong attitude or in a manner contrary to what he has commanded, we may reap tremendous consequences (Leviticus 10). We are to worship God with the greatest joy (Psalm 100) and the greatest reverence, because he is great." Read more on the blog. https://loom.ly/Ahs8-DQ

REMAIN FAITHFUL FOR HE IS FAITHFUL No matter what we are going through we MUST remember to lean in, give praise and know that God is faithful. Nothing happens without God's permission but everything He permits is part of His plan and His end plan for us is to give us and VICTOR'S CROWN! REMAIN FAITHFUL FOR HE IS FAITHFUL Revelation 2:10 --> Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown. Hebrews 10:23 --> Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 1 Corinthians 10:13 --> No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 --> But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. #PrecipicePriest #Beyond #Precipice ##radicaldiscipling #come2christcity #TheCity #Pottsville #Jesus #Christ #JesusChrist #ChristJesus #HolySpirit #God #GodsWord #GodsWork #GodsWill #GodStuff #KingdomKind #KingdomWork #KingdomMinded #KingdomMoves #Discipling #Faith #TheTruth #TheLife #TheWay #Prayer #AbsoluteDiscipling

By focusing on Acts 1:8, a Christian can become an effective & empowered witness for Christ. This can involve several steps like relying on the Holy Spirit, seeking a closer relationship with God through prayer, worship, & studying the Bible to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's guidance. Live a transformed life, engage in evangelism through personal conversations, serve others, use your gifts, acts of kindness, being informed & pray for others. "But" God, with His almighty governance, turned all the evils that occurred to Joseph into good, for the fulfilment of His decision regarding Joseph's life!! (Romans 8:28). Just like that, it will happen to us too! "Everything" that is happening in our life will be for the fulfilment of God's plan for us! He will surely change us in the image of Christ finally!! But we must believe these! Because we can receive God's promises only to the extent of our faith! https://lnkd.in/eivQf6YP
