This is how I typically start my days, in the dark monitoring my kids so my wife can get a few more hours of sleep.
Also, not to mention, I have to be at work in 2 hours for a 10 hour day as a scrub tech.
So why am I up 2 hours prior to work daily? It’s simple- it’s called determination & grit!! On this day I’m constructing a 30-60-90 plan that would set me apart from other candidates for a medical device position.
Do I have an interview soon? No! I’m simply sharpening my skills and being prepared for that interview when the opportunity arrives.
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jeff Boswell. I’m currently a surgical tech, but I’m ready to take on the next phase in my career in the medical device space.
As you can see from my picture, I possess intangibles that are not coachable.
1. Grit: Doing the necessary work in the dark without anyone or anybody telling me. It’s the hunger and determination I have to make this transition.
2. Organized: I pride myself in preparation and being organized. I have no interviews lined up at the moment, but a consistent regime of sharpening my skills allows me to be prepared and ready.
3. Adaptability: My current position as a surgical tech has taught me this trait. In an instant, something can go terribly wrong during surgery. So, when an emergency happens, I have the ability to adjust and stay focused when there’s a sudden change. Also on a lighter note, I have to be prepared to sprint to a room at any given moment when one of these monitors goes off for a crying kid, and not wake mama bear up😂
There are numerous traits and intangibles that I can bring to your team. So to all my recruiters, managers, and sales reps- let’s connect, so I can tell you more what I can offer to your team.
