It includes the importance of realistic timelines, involving public administrations in approval processes, and advocating for common standards for district heating experiments. One of the most modern foundries in Europe continues a trend of innovation and sustainability! As part of ongoing efforts in energy optimization and carbon footprint reduction, Medeko has implemented a smart battery storage brAIn by FUERGY. The results from the first four months of operation are impressive: 23.3 tons of CO₂e emissions saved, and with the solar panel system, up to 54.22 tons of CO₂e! This is a total reduction of 48.33% in carbon emissions compared to without such technologies. The project was financed and installed by the energy supplier Slovenské elektrárne – energetické služby, s.r.o. We’re pleased to announce the Resi-Flex partnership between Orion and Wellington Electricity (we*) has entered the trial phase. The aim of this phase is to explore residential demand-side flexibility and encourage changes in electricity use, while evaluating how effectively these changes mitigate local network constraints to ensure optimised investment.
