💡Did you know? You can do your doctorate with us. The scientific results that emerge from dissertations written at the Fraunhofer IMWS have repeatedly made decisive contributions to the expansion of our specialist expertise 🥼. ➡️ Our doctoral students are integrated into the institute's day-to-day research as employees. In addition, they meet once a year to exchange ideas with each other and with their supervisors at our doctoral seminar, which is a valuable format for discussing technical and methodological issues, gaining new perspectives and receiving systematic support in the doctoral process. #WeKnowFuture #ScientistsForFuture #MicrostructureDiagnostics

PhD students at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School have different research interests and fields of expertise. 🧑🏫 To integrate its community, the School organizes seminars that aim to develop the ability to present and discuss a research project in English, its methodology and results, also among non-specialists. Interdisciplinary Integrative Seminar serves to explore methodologies relevant for interdisciplinary projects across a variety of disciplines and scientific fields. It shapes and develops competence in both the theory and methodology of interdisciplinary and interfield research, as well as the broader issues of meta-knowledge and meta-science. 📚 During the seminar debate, which is also attended by the supervisors 🎓 of the doctoral students presenting their projects, issues of scientific skills, comparison of research discourses, juxtaposition of diversity and analogy of apparatuses are of particular importance, within related and dissimilar disciplines and fields. 👉 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dtd2b-kv

🎓 Flashback to my PhD days! 🎓 I was lucky enough to receive media training during my PhD, and it opened many doors to traditional media—think newspapers and radio. It gave me the platform to share my research far and wide. But I was one of the lucky few… most PhD students don’t get this kind of training 😕. That’s why Alicia Cintron, PhD’s article is a must-read for researchers. If you want to get your research out there, this is the next best thing! 🎤📢 Read her tips here 👇 https://lnkd.in/gk-gwYxd

In this 4th video, I expound on12 topics to simplify the Research Proposal phase. Below are the topics: 1. Title and Introduction 2. Research Objectives and research Questions 3. Literature Review 4. Theoretical Framework and Conceptual Foundations 5. Methodology 6. Data Collection and Analysis 7. Significance and Contributions 8. Feasibility and Timelines 9. references and Bibliography 10. Clarity and Precision 11. Seeking for Feedback 12. Adherence to Guidelines I would appreciate it if you can watch and share the video but DO NOT forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel. The next (5th video) will be on "DEFENDING THE RESEARCH PROPOSAL" before the examiners. ENJOY! #Phd #phdresearch #Phdesearchproposal #doctoraldegree #doctoralcandidate #doctoralstudent #doctoraljourney #doctoralstudies https://lnkd.in/dsQP6FVe
