Transforming Surplus into Climate Solutions: This Earth Month, The Farmlink Project (https://lnkd.in/gp7KzjCD) is maximizing our climate impact for the entire month of April. We are thrilled to announce, 100% of every dollar donated through our website will go directly to rescuing potatoes. Donating $25 not only rescues 500 potatoes, but also generates a tangible positive climate impact by preventing 1,190 pounds of emissions—equivalent to an average car driving the entire length of the U.S. west coast." By redistributing fresh food into communities, we create a convenient climate positive option for farmers, and are able to eliminate environmentally harmful emissions. With each truckload, we respond to the global climate call to action to reduce methane emissions, and eradicate hunger in our lifetimes.
