The world is a better place with the positive influences of good men - Being male is a matter of birth, being a man is a matter of age, but being a gentleman is a matter of choice. Women gain weight once they get married and people fat shame them shamelessly. Yes, this is a fact and I heard the same story from many of my female friends. Some people have some dirty thoughts about it. Some say that after marriage ceremony, she is enjoying thoroughly with her husband and parents-in-law. Here’s the REAL FACT: women gain weight after marriage because of the stress. 🤕 Stress to be a perfect daughter-in-law, wife, mother and so on. 🤕 Before marriage people will be chasing you asking when will the girl get married. After marriage they are being chased for motherhood. 🤕 If the salt in food is more or less, then it's going to be a big round table conference doing post-mortem of her culinary skills. 🤕 If she is saying her in-laws that she is unavailable for few hours as she have to get some office work done and meetings to be attended, then in-laws are unhappy, as if someone died. 🤕 In most of the families, women are not allowed to pursue higher education as who will look after their Raja-beta and the woman’s own Raja-beta (if she is blessed with a beta. If she is blessed with a baby girl, then situation could be different in some households). Believe me the list is never ending. That's why almost 99% women go off to sleep with 30-40 MS excel tabs open on their mind. The circadian cycle is incomplete and insufficient. Following the brain fogging, frustration; which eventually leads to over-eating and weight gain. Women don't need your judgements, they simply need a bit of kindness and compassion. They are highly capable of managing all. Allow them to hit the bed with 10-15 open excel tabs, they will sleep better. They are equally allowed to pursue their careers and find a work-life balance. They need to be understood, shouldn't be ending up explaining their side thousands of times to some deaf ears. May month is regarded as mental health awareness month. So here’s my little contribution to make the world a better place. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #womenhealth #womensupport

“That’s when I realized what a true friend was. Someone who would always love you—the imperfect you, the confused you, the wrong you—because that is what people are supposed to do.” The best thing about today is that more and more women are exercising their choices freely. Females today are choosing a career oriented life, being a full time home maker, part time work, creativepreneurs, shepreneurs, artist etc unlike the era when she had no authority of choice. Times have changed, but has the mindset changed regarding success of women, their liberty, choices etc? Many still suffocate while being *allowed to* as if it's an obligation! Does the right tribe make a difference in the emotional state of the female and her journey? The Power of the Girl Gang 👭 Why Female Friendships Are Essential? Strong female #friendships are a cornerstone of a happy and #healthy life. Here's why having a "tribe" of girlfriends and scheduling fun together is important: Emotional and Mental Well-being - Sharing laughter, tears, and everything in between with your girlfriends provides a safe space for emotional release and validation. This social support system can be a buffer against stress, anxiety, and even #depression. Physical Health Benefits - Studies show that strong social connections can lower blood pressure, boost the immune system, and even aid in longevity. Spending time with friends who encourage healthy habits can further promote physical well-being. Coping with Challenges - Female friendships are particularly valuable during life transitions like menopause. Sharing experiences and knowledge with women who understand what you're going through can make a significant difference. Age Range of Your Girl Gang - Should we make same age friends? While shared experiences can strengthen bonds, age doesn't necessarily define a great friendship. An age-diverse girl gang can provide a broader perspective and support system. It's a mutual benefit for all age groups as they share wisdom and new age activities that keeps the energy high and us grounded. A few things that matter - 🫶 •In any situation your self esteem and healthy boundaries should not be compromised. You must respect boundaries as well and allow people to guide you in their lives and the levels they are comfortable in. Asking personal questions is ok but answering is a personal choice, respect the response. Acquaintances and Friendship connections are different so if you manage them well you are bound to have healthy relations throughout life. Bad times are a blesssing as they filter a lot of drama from our lives and confirm the ones who are truly yours forever, be grateful. Do not engage in gossip and negative banter, your energy is divine and time is precious. Back bitching, gossiping and negative talks are tempting but they surely destroy your energy as well as are used by manipulaters to destroy your best connections. Stay happy and attract your tribe 🧚♀️ #women

I admit, I am a weak woman I have seen a lot of women get pregnant and still accomplish great things in their careers and businesses. Some even started up new businesses while pregnant and on maternity leave. Don’t let me get started on women that bounce back to business as usual as if nothing happened. I thought that this was a norm. I remember telling my then HR that i was going to return back to work after 3 months but i will also help where i can during my time off. Laugh out Loud! 🤣 After labor and delivery all was fine and dandy until i was diagnosed with PPD. I thought mental health problems were not an African thing. Nothing prepares you for it. I remember getting comments like: you will get over it! think happy thoughts, this should be a happy time for you. I couldn’t go back to work as i predicted and i couldn’t keep up with my other side businesses. You can say i lost everything career wise. It’s almost 2 years and i am getting back on track with the clarity i have gained during this time. My journey as a woman who has faced postpartum depression and career setbacks highlights the often unspoken challenges many of us encounter. By sharing this story, i hope it redefines the meaning of strength in vulnerability. Also to let you know, especially for moms that had to take a break that one day you will get your mojo back. #momlife #momlifebalance #careerbreak #mentalhealth #maternityleave

According to the recent Motherly Annual State of Motherhood, 35% of moms over 30 say they share equal household duties with their partners. It’s similar to the 2023 statistics. I’d love to see that number closer to 100%. Because both partners are part of the household, they benefit from all the work being done to keep a household functioning. They should be participating in all of it too. It doesn’t mean there needs to be a 50/50 split of tasks. It simply needs to feel fair for the family. And it will change with each season of life. This is why I do the work I do. I want women not to shoulder the burden of running a household alone. I help moms learn how to share the mental load with their partners in a way that takes moms out of the role of boss and everyone into the role of team player. Are you ready? DM me and let's talk! #strideproductivity #workingmom #workingmomlife #workingmomlifebalance #workingmothers #mompreneur #mompreneurlife #mompreneurlifestyle #fairplayfacilitator #fairplaylife #mentalload #mentalloadofmotherhood #workingmomproblems #workingmomstruggles #toxictimemessages #sharethementalload #MomLife

Super or Support Hero? As a teen, I idolized the Amazonian strength of Wonder Woman. Subconsciously I got caught in the #wonderwoman myth the first year of my parenting journey. Frankly speaking what new mom wouldn't? She embodies strength, grace, and limitless capacity. Parenting transformed into a battlefield, my daily 'Herculian tasks'. But even Wonder Woman has her limits, right? Slowly, the myth clashed with human reality. Endless chores (Lizzy Parsons’ laundry sagas are testament 😎 ) and sleep-deprived nights became my norm. Parental burnout crept in, quietly, overwhelming. But here's my epiphany: even superheroes need to rest. Even superheroes work in teams. It’s okay to be human, to seek help. Talk to a friend, a family member, or a fellow parent. Sharing the load doesn’t make you any less of a hero - it makes you a wise one. Who’s your unsung Support Hero in this odyssey of parenting?

🏓The anxiety hack no one ever told you about…… 🌍 The well-being of women affects everyone socially, and personally. 🫶🏼Women are caregivers, even if they’re not mothers 💐 Feminine energy, often, places us in nurturing roles, such as holding space for people and their problems, or trying to make people feel better as informal therapists. 🤝Often this leads us to be exploited or causes us to hold on to other peoples anxiety. We may find ourselves in situations where people benefit from our caregiving, but no one is there to care for us. 🥺Levels of anxiety when these toxic dynamics become ever increasing is something many women talk about with me. ❤️🩹 It’s great to help people, but you soon become no help to anyone when you cannot look after yourself. 😩If you find yourself overwhelmed a very good di, which nobody else really talks about his play. 🐥Play is a natural childhood activity , and somehow we tend to punish ourselves as adults if we become “irresponsible” in entertaining play. ⚽️Play does not have to be only in the form of formal sports. 🎉If you want to have a happy family, healthy, relationship dynamics, and good personal care, play must be incorporated into the habits of a healthy life 📊 Studies have shown this, however it is often and neglected it remedy for anxiety ➡️Personally, I have five kids so it’s not very difficult. ➡️I also have a trampoline another forms of equipment that facilitate non-functional movement and activity. ❓How do you incorporate into your daily practice? ♻️ Repost and ▶️ Share 💕 If you care #play #Safespaces #Management #LeadershipSkills #Empowerment #Well-being #MentalHealth#Psychology #CareerSkills #LeadershipSkills #HumanResources #LinkedIn #LinkedInManagement #Training #ToxicWorkplaceCulture #WomenAtWork #Women

A recent client shared how, for the first time in ages, she was able to drop her mental load and truly enjoy herself thanks to a booking with one of my gents. She said, "Harrison was focused purely on me, boosting my confidence in a safe space." Self-care is an absolute must. Many of us feel exhausted by the demands of work, family, and societal expectations, leading to stress that can diminish our libido and desire for connection. Clinical psychologist Phoebe Rogers highlights that emotional disconnection often stems from burnout, leaving us less inclined to seek intimacy. The reality is that s*x and intimacy are vital components of our overall well-being. There are countless physical and emotional benefits we can enjoy when we live s*xually fulfilling lives; and the best part is, we don’t necessarily need a partner to achieve this. We must prioritise self-care, and that's why services like Her Confidant are so essential. They offer an alternative, empowering women to choose their paths with freedom and accountability. 1wIt's great to see the celebration of masculinity on International Men's Day. Boys and men are equally deserving of empathy and respect. Big shout-out to the hardworking men who are contributing to their families and to our community. You matter, and you are worthy of recognition.
