🚑 Exciting News in Resuscitation Science! 🚑 I’m thrilled to share our latest publication in Resuscitation: “Patient cohorts of interest in resuscitation science – Aligning cardiac arrest registry outputs with stakeholder needs”. This work highlights the importance of tailoring cardiac arrest registry data to meet the diverse needs of stakeholders across the Chain of Survival. 🔍 Key insights: 'Stakeholder Focus: Tailored cohorts for Emergency Medical Communication Centres (EMCC), Emergency Medical Services (EMS), In-Hospital Care Providers (IHCP), and Recovery and Rehabilitation Providers (RRP). 'Quality Improvement: Recommendations for defining subgroups to enhance benchmarking, quality improvement projects, and research. 'Comprehensive Data: Analysis of the Norwegian Cardiac Arrest Registry (NorCAR) data from 2022. 📈 Impact: Our findings emphasize the need for precise cohort definitions to improve the quality of care and provide actionable insights for all stakeholders involved in resuscitation. Online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic left many radiography and radiation therapy students unready to enter the workforce, a nation-wide survey of clinical educators has found. Clinical educators who believed students were prepared to meet professional standards dropped from 90 per cent before the pandemic, to less than 25 per cent in 2020 and 2021. 👉 Read More: https://lnkd.in/gX2TkdxF
