**MAG selects Jacobs and others for Airfield Infrastructure Framework**
- UK operator Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has selected #Jacobs and other partners for its latest £550m ($675.80m) Airfield Infrastructure Framework to support its three airports.
- MAG's portfolio of airports includes Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands. The group served 61.3 million passengers in 2024, contributing £10.6bn to the UK economy.
- This framework is expected to span five to eight years, with the aim to support MAG’s ongoing airfield development programmes by continuing to channel investments into airport infrastructure.
- Through this awarding, MAG aims to forge sustainable partnerships that align with its overarching goals for capital improvements, ultimately refining the travel experience for its customers.
- The scope of the framework encompasses a variety of essential projects. These include runway refurbishments, the expansion of aircraft stands, and upgrades to airfield ground lighting systems.
- As part of this framework, Jacobs will deliver services, including planning, advisory, design, and multidisciplinary engineering to enhance strategic airfield infrastructure at all three airports.
