I’m not a Pickler, I’m a runner, I’m a coffee girl but I can’t help but think what can we learn from the amazing growth of Pickleball. According to Pickleheads the number of Picklers has grown over 200% over the past three years to 36.5 million people (16% of the US population over the age of 18 - Wow). That’s a lot of potential cups of coffee. The enthusiasm for pickleball is fueled by community, connection and competition, possibly also a bit of coffee. These pickleball courts on the lower east side NYC not only serve the local community but they’re also a live billboard for the sport with its location near Pier 17! As courts like these keep popping up, they serve as a powerful reminder: industries change, but businesses that connect deeply with people grow exponentially. As coffee business owners, let’s continue to Dream Big and Be Bold by creating hubs for our communities, collaborating with others and remaining flexible to evolving coffee trends. Take a page from pickleball and keep crafting spaces where our communities, our businesses, our lives thrive. Anyone want to create a Pickleball coffee roast or open a Pickleball themed coffee shop? Hmmm… #Pickleball #BusinessGrowth #CoffeeBusiness #Community #pickleheads #profitfirst

Incorporating pickleball courts in Big box retail locations is eviating current occupancy rates across the country! With the rise in popularity of pickleball across the globe, pickleball facilities are becoming more and more popular. With this we are seeing a rise in foot traffic and consumer activity in shopping centers that have adopted indoor pickleball facilities. By adding pickleball courts as part of the retail experience, it creates a unique selling point that sets shopping centers apart from online shopping and other competitors. Not only does it provide a new recreational activity for shoppers, but it also encourages social interaction and community engagement. As retail continues to evolve and adapt to changing consumer preferences, thinking outside the box and exploring innovative ideas like pickleball courts can help revitalize struggling brick-and-mortar stores. #picklr #paddleup #pickleball #cre #retail

Extremely Dissatisfied with Pepperfry's Product Quality and Service I want to highlight a disappointing experience with @Pepperfry. We recently purchased the Kazuo Tilt Out Shoe Rack in Columbia Walnut Finish (Order ID: 309901961) for nearly ₹8,000, expecting quality craftsmanship. However, the reality was far from it. Upon installation, the shoe rack broke immediately without any pressure—it’s shockingly flimsy, more akin to cardboard than solid wood. For the price paid, this is simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, when we reached out to Pepperfry's customer care, they refused to accept a return, despite the app clearly offering a return option. As loyal customers, we feel completely let down and cheated. I hope Pepperfry reconsiders their approach to both product quality and customer service. It’s crucial that companies take responsibility when they deliver subpar products and fail to honor return policies. Looking forward to a resolution. In just over four months of building OOSO Sparkling Tea with my fiancé and co-founder, Sophia Racciatti, there have been daily milestones worth celebrating. Yet, with so much on our plates as a two-person team, it’s pretty easy to overlook these wins. One milestone that truly made us pause and reflect is how OOSO has made it into over 100 stores. As a self funded and bootstrapped brand, there’s no denying that’s a significant achievement. And what’s even more exciting is it’s just the beginning. Now that we're on the shelves, our focus shifts to driving velocity and reorder rates. Typically, a product needs to live on the shelf for some time to gain traction, but we’re already seeing promising velocity that we’ll bolster with some fresh marketing tactics in the next couple months and into Dry January. Cheers to continued growth! Sip sparkling and see clearly 👀 Photo credit: Ben Krebs // Attaboy Studio

I was recently the very lucky recipient of a Fortnum & Mason hamper, as a thank you for connecting up some mutual contacts for a professional opportunity. Part of the joy of this was the 'unboxing', rummaging through the straw to find the treats inside. A large tin of biscuits brings its own rewards, but I was also taken by a lovely piece of innovation on the biscuit tin itself. Apparently, some people keep their biscuits long enough that they start to lose their bite (no such issues in this household!), and so Fortnum's have added a little device into the roof of the tin that captures the moisture and helps keep the biscuits as fresh as ever. There are even instructions on how to remove the device and dry it back out in the oven for repeat usage. I'd imagine the utility of this is pretty low. The tin is obviously high quality (as are the biscuits!), and really, who has time for this kind of thing! But the emotional value is really high - it tells me that they care about their product, and about their customers, and want them to have the best possible experience. It's all beautifully done and reinforces the brand positioning. But what I love most about this is the reminder that an innovation idea can come from a very well known customer need (biscuit protection), with a well understood product solution (moisture wicking technology) - the innovation is just in bringing those together in a new category. This problem/ solution duo has been around for decades, yet this is the first time I've seen any brand try and speak to the issue at all. As with all the best ideas, once you see it, you wonder why it hadn't been done earlier. 🍪 💡 ✨ #Insight #Innovation #cookies
