“Did you know that exercise could be the natural solution to period pain?” Exercise is an effective way to reduce menstrual cramps and ease other related symptoms. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins, which act as natural painkillers and mood boosters. Regular physical activity also improves blood flow and reduces stress, which helps with cramping and overall well-being during your cycle. Here are a few types of exercise that can be particularly helpful: 1. Aerobic Exercise 🔹 Activities like brisk walking, jogging, cycling, or dancing increase your heart rate and improve circulation, which can reduce cramping. 2. Gentle Stretching and Yoga 🔹 Poses that involve gentle stretching, relaxation, and breathing exercises also reduce tension, which is beneficial if cramps are affecting your lower back or pelvic area. 3. Pilates 🔹Pilates focuses on strengthening core muscles and improving flexibility, which can relieve some of the tension in your abdominal and pelvic area. Consistent exercise and light movement during your period can still provide benefits. Happy new month lovelies 😊 Repost for a wider reach.♻️ If you are new here…. Here's a brief description of how each pose can support menstrual health: 1. *Seated Forward Bend (Paschimottanasana)*: Stretches the entire back, hips, and legs, relieving tension and cramps. Helps to calm the nervous system and promote relaxation. 2. *Child's Pose (Balasana)*: Gentle stretch for the back, hips, and legs. Helps to reduce cramps, promote relaxation, and improve sleep. 3. *Half Camel Pose (Ardha Ustrasana)*: Opens up the hips and pelvis, improving blood flow and reducing cramps. Strengthens the back muscles and improves posture. 4. *Bridge Pose (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana)*: Strengthens the pelvic floor muscles, improves blood flow, and reduces cramps. Helps to stabilize the menstrual cycle and promote hormonal balance. Remember to listen to your body and modify or avoid poses that cause discomfort or pain. It's also essential to practice yoga under the guidance of a qualified instructor, especially if you have any underlying health conditions. #frectaayoga #vitaminf3 #teamvf3

🚫 **Avoid These Practices During Menstruation for Optimal Wellness** 🚫 During menstruation, your body needs extra care and attention. Here’s what you should avoid to maintain balance and harmony: 1️⃣ **Inserting tampons or menstrual cups** Opt for cotton-based pads instead. Let your body flow naturally without interference. 2️⃣ **Sex** This is a time for deep rest. Consider spending nights in separate rooms to fully relax and restore. 3️⃣ **Intense physical exercises or inversions** Skip the dynamic workouts or challenging asanas. Focus on gentle, meditative yoga to help your body recover. 4️⃣ **Speaking excessively or traveling** Embrace moments of silence and solitude. Use this time to recharge mentally and emotionally. 5️⃣ **Heavy and spicy food** Avoid taxing your digestive system with rich, heavy meals. Instead, nourish your body with lighter, iron riches food such as spinach , spirulina , curry leaves, beetroot pomegranates etc which are easily digestible foods. Respect your body’s cycle and give it the rest and care it needs during menstruation. 🌸 You will see me soon second time on #joshtalks again discussing on menstrual health. I can't thank Shivani enough for her great hospitality and the opportunity. Tip of the Day "When you're stress, take a few moments to pause and breathe deeply to reset." Deep breathing slows your heart rate, lowers blood pressure, and reduces the production of stress hormones like cortisol. By intentionally stepping away from stressful situations and practicing this simple technique, you give yourself a chance to reset emotionally and mentally.
