Ek Tara ’s Post

Wrapping up my first trip to India with Team4Tech 🇮🇳 While here, I had the opportunity to work with one of Team4Tech's amazing partners, Ek Tara , on their LMS and digital learning strategy with my colleague Goutham Kumar. Ek Tara serves first-generation learners and women from the most marginalized communities in Kolkata, providing high-quality, holistic education and enabling community-wide transformation. As soon as you walk through the school doors, you are welcomed into a vibrant learning environment filled with colorful artwork created by students and uplifting messages. While I was there, I saw students beginning music class with a guided meditation, girls collaborating on activities in the computer lab and mothers engaged in various skill building opportunities. Working with Ek Tara and seeing their impactful, gender responsive work has left a deep impression on me.
