Back to School Fundraiser Imagine a world where every individual is treated with dignity and respect. Imagine a world where all schools follow trauma-informed, neuroscience-aligned, neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-driven, and collaborative approaches. At the Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint, we are working tirelessly to make that world a reality. Seclusion and restraint are harmful practices that affect numerous individuals and families, particularly those with children with disabilities, Black and brown children, and children with a trauma history. Our mission is to reduce and eliminate these practices and ensure safer schools for students, teachers, and staff. We need your help to continue this critical work. A gift of: $20 can provide vital support for families. $50 can support training for professionals. $100 can help us develop workshops and advocacy efforts. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly impact our ability to promote positive change and protect those in need. Together, we can end these harmful practices and create a better, more compassionate world. Thank you for your support. https://lnkd.in/e2F_qdzV #EndSeclusion

🚴♂️ 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐔𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 500𝐤𝐦 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞🚴♂️ This May, I am proud to be participating in the 2024 Magic Ride, a 500km cycling challenge through the Hunter Valley, to support Feel the Magic, a charity dedicated to providing grief education to children who have experienced profound loss. As a team sponsor (Jay Anderson Property), our goal is to raise $15,000 – that's $30 for every kilometre of the ride. How You Can Help: 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Help us reach our fundraising goal. Donate: https://lnkd.in/ghHCKHPb 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝: Share this initiative within your networks to increase our impact. 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: There are a few spots available for those who wish to participate in this meaningful event. Imagine the pain of losing someone dear to you at a young age. Sadly, this is the reality for 1 in every 20 children aged 7-17, and over 300,000 children in Australia will experience the loss of a parent before they turn 18. The impact of losing a parent at a young age leaves a lasting imprint on a child's life, leaving behind scars that may never fully heal. Research reveals the devastating toll it takes, showing how it disrupts not only their present but also their future. From strained relationships to academic struggles and occupational challenges, the repercussions are far-reaching. Tragically, this pain often leads to harmful coping mechanisms, mental health issues, substance abuse, and an increased risk of suicide. The ripple effects are profound, shaping their journey long after the initial loss. This is where Feel the Magic steps in to provide these children and their families with the support they need to find solace, strength, and the opportunity to embark on a path toward healing. Feel the Magic’s work is crucial, and the need is great. By supporting this cause, we can together help shape a better future for these children. #MagicRide2024 #FeelTheMagic

To me, Kigundu Stuart 🥸👉I see great teachers, great doctors, great parents who will do their best for their children, I see great leaders who will spread the love we have showed to them. I believe if not you, nothing will make these children any of the above. I believe without your support, nothing can be archived. Be the sermon,Spread love , create unity, support our work because all our hope are in you. ✅We need tuition, we need scholastic materials, we need more sponsors, we need clothes, we need shoes. we need food, Please support our work on the donation link , 👉Below is the GoFundMe link https://gofund.me/7a86ad72

Pawsitively Bears Day #1: The inception of Teddy Bears with Heart traces back to a personal challenge during my divorce. Faced with the dilemma of what to do with 450 bears stored in boxes that I had collected through the beanie bear craze, a conversation with a friend who happened to be a fire captain sparked the initiative. I didn't want to throw the bears away, he volunteered to take a few off of my hands. I then started thinking, who else could use bears so I started looking. I have always been one of those who "see a need, fill a need" kind of people. As TBWH grew we decided we wanted to be a non-profit. At the time it cost a lot so I did some online research and found Good Bears of the World. They have been in business since the 70s and did exactly what I wanted to do. I contacted them and they agreed to let us be a Den. Since 2008 we have given out over 200,000 stuffed animals and are gifting to first responders and other agencies in over six counties, not to mention throughout the U.S. and Internationally, when we can. The primary mission of Teddy Bears with Heart is to provide comfort to children in crisis, the forgotten elderly, and the terminally ill. Importantly, TBWH emphasizes our commitment to being a resource during times of genuine need, steering away from serving as mere Christmas gifts, prizes, or incentives. The focus remains on offering support and solace to those facing challenging circumstances. www.tbwh.org/donate #shareabearbecauseyoucare #pawsitivelybears #TeddyBearsWithHeart #NonProfit #Support #Comfort #Resource #FirstResponders #ChildrenInCrisis #Elderly #TerminallyIll

Join the Global Movement of Giving This Giving Tuesday! Did you know that Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity that started in 2012 as a simple idea—encouraging people to do good? What began as a call to action for one day has now evolved into a worldwide celebration of kindness, inspiring us all to give, collaborate, and make a difference every day of the year. Think of the countless lives we could touch, helping more students unlock their potential through the life-changing GEMS program. With your support, we can extend our reach and empower more young minds with the tools to build a brighter future. Currently, the GEMS program is in 3 school districts. But we need you to help us do more. Every donation, no matter the size, has a profound impact. With your contribution, we can reach more school districts, touch more lives, and give even more children the opportunity to thrive. We are driven by a mission to create a sustainable solution that positively impacts vulnerable children, their families, and their communities. Middle school is a critical time—children at this stage are at higher risk of falling through the cracks, facing struggles with mental health, dropping out of school, or becoming involved in the criminal justice system. We are committed to guiding these students toward a future filled with hope, opportunity, and a sense of belonging. Please consider making a donation today to help us secure a future filled with hope and possibility for these deserving children. Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your commitment to making the world a better place. Together, we can change lives—one child at a time. Together, we can make a lasting difference. https://lnkd.in/geSe29hi
