We will introduce the invited speakers for this year's Symposium in the following weeks. Today, we start with our first keynote speaker, Prof. Thijs de Groot. Prof. de Groot works as an associate professor at Eindhoven University of Technology. His research focuses on alkaline and anion exchange membrane water electrolysis, with an emphasis on improving productivity and flexibility. His work involves enhancing cell design, examining the impact of bubbles and supersaturation, and investigating ion and gas transport. With more than 15 years of experience in the electrochemical industry, he possesses a thorough understanding of scaling up electrochemical processes. We eagerly await his talk about “Enhancing performance, flexibility, and durability in alkaline water electrolysis.”
