With the rapid expansion of PV installations, grid balancing, energy sharing is more critical than ever. 🌟I had the privilege of participating in an insightful panel discussion, offering fascinating perspectives, such as: 🏙️ Enrico Biele’s insights into Italy’s energy community rollouts, tailored for regional industrial and municipal clusters. 🚛 And it was inspiring to learn from Wilfried Dockx, who integrates solar production and sharing into business operations. DOCKX GROUP 🌅 Dimitris Katsaprakakis I was amazed by the progress in Greece, large-scale initiatives in PV, wind, and biogas community-based. Minoan Energy Community 💡My takeaways: Clear, consistent rules across Europe—particularly at the DSO level—are crucial. Instead of reinventing platforms and technology, we should prioritize faster, more efficient rollouts by leveraging and combining the existing tech and know-how.
