Thrilled to share my latest article, published in Electronics Era magazine! Title: 𝐋𝐨𝐰 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 The transportation sector is a significant contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for nearly 25% of global carbon emissions. India, with its growing economy and vast population, faces unique challenges in transitioning to low-carbon energy in transportation. Despite these challenges, India has made progress, with over 4 million electric vehicles (EVs) on the road and a target of 30% EV sales by 2030. However, India lags behind global leaders in low-carbon transportation, with a lower EV penetration rate and fewer charging stations. To bridge this gap, India must strengthen policy frameworks, invest in charging infrastructure, and encourage innovation in low-carbon transportation technologies.
