#Siemens announced that it is adding #PAVE360™ software for Software Defined Vehicles ( #SDV) to its hardware-assisted verification portfolio, accelerating pre-silicon development in the cloud. The solution is the first accelerated simulation environment to support the new #Arm® #Cortex®-A720AE CPU #semiconductor IP launching in March 2024. After first announcing its partnership with Arm and AWS at the end of 2023, Siemens is now supporting key partners in the Arm #ecosystem. Integrating select partner enablement solutions into a cloud-based development platform will enable Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs to develop early software for Arm's new #Cortex-A720AE IP, breaking the tradition of waiting for silicon before developing software for the latest semiconductor IP. By providing extremely fast cloud-based emulation speeds, #automotive software teams can shift left by performing pre-silicon iterative software development, debugging and verification long before silicon is available.
